The guy records a SAD song for his dad.. "Na badle mere Papa.."
Also, all the Frankfinn ads.. though they might be hitting home with their target audience, can't see the "Shaadi nahin karogi?" and the "Ma, main air hostess ban gayi!" too often..
And not to forget, (while we're at SRK-bashing), the ITC Sunfeast biscuits. They're biscuits, for Chris-sake! As for the much talked about Navratna talc,

Hmm...very true....Celebrity woes (a few) have come to such a level, that I prefer switching off the idiot box and relaxing in a much better way!!!
The new Fanta ad starring Rani Mukherjee might be the worst ad I have ever seen. I really can't remember a more irritating ad in the recent past. It's so senseless, that I'm sure a few of my brain cells die everytime I watch it.

Question: Do celebrities really attract all kinds of ppl?? For example, Would we go and buy a Fanta/Coke/Pepsi just coz Rani/ Ash,Aamir/ SRK,Kareena,Priyanka endorse the corresponding cold drink???
I mean, I knw....some of us wud......but def not me!! 
Or does this celebrity connection work better with products other than soft
drinks, say....a car or sumthing???

Hey I don't know abt a TV ad of theirs, but I did see some big hoardings at the Chennai Railway station! Gawd.. if they wanted a turnaround in their sales, they should've thought of something better.. Dhoni and Mysore Sandal just don't seem to go together..

i frankly feel that a lot of soft drink ads are well made and hit across the point pretty well...except off course fanta - rani ad...gawwddd est ad ever.
as far as celebrity endorsements are concerned, its just there fr drinks to have a face. drinks sell even on their own merit... but its like this... if i havent had mirinda fr long...and i go to a shop wid a poster showing zayed khan having it , i might just think...kafee din ho gaye..let me try this. its just brand recall.
lets be fair to shahrukh khan..his ad is trying to place a talcum powder at a level other than those other talcs showing itchy backs. and doesnt seem so bad. so sunfeast is not that great but the compaq one is okay. and the pepsi tv ad ill watch it anyday fr kareena and priyanka!!

and yeah...pepsi cafechino ad is pretty catchy and very apt (the ingredients..the visual..the combo of kareena and priyanka.. the wordings...all are spot on)
