The thread I started in this regard has been BARRED so I decided to take things head on and spread my message through every means possible.
and i welcome PG to bar me from furthur postings if they think i am offending anyone...This was supposed to be a normal discussion and u have turned it into a war...And by the way, I do not want to be a prt of grp tht does not believe in serious discussions..and can't differentiate between regular and political issues.
Well joining a management institute does not only mean corporate responsibilities but also those of the nation as we are going to be future policy makers that will go a long way in shaping the future of our country. It is primarily due to this reason I am discussing this issue on thi forum. Hope to have something about this on MADMAG as well.
The ghost of reservation is back to haunt us. And all this in the name of 'social justice'?? I am shocked to see that someone who studied with me in school, whose parents are well to do in their lives, and can afford the best of education for their children "IS SOCIALLY DEPRIVED" and that's why should get preference over me when going for furthur studies and jobs...Does it take a sudoku expert to crack out the real motive behind this move???
A small look at some OBC sections makes me wonder that "ARE THEY REALLY A DEPRIVED SECTION OF SOCIETY?" (THIS INCULDES RAJPUTS IN GUJRAT AND GUPTAS IN BIHAR)
Instead of taking out casteism out of our society, all this government seems to be doing is "spreading it furthur"..We all have the burning body of Rajeev Goswami still embedded in our minds.. How many more Rajeevs are we gonna have???
I am not aginst reservation to the 'REAL WEAKER SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY'...to those who really cannot afford to send their children to good schools and colleges AND that is stopping them from going up the ladder socially, but why should an IAS get reservation benefits for his children or for that matter a politician or an industrialist just because he happens to belong to a certain caste. Give it to poor instead.
EDUCATION IS ABOUT QUALITY AND NOT ABOUT BIRTH...A PERSON FROM ANY COMMUNITY, IF THEY ARE DESERVING SHOULD NOT BE EPRIVED OF QUALITY EDUCATION. AT THE SAME TIME, IF ANYONE IS ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD THEY SHOULD BE GIVEN ALL THE SUPPORT THEY NEED FOR THEIR UPLIFTMENT
PLEASE SUPPORT THE CAUSE AND STOP BRAIN DRAIN.

Before being banned , I would like to clear the air,
My purpose was to highlight 2 things. First I wanted to highlight the issue and garner opinion of people who r regular users of various forums, but have not posted on the actual thread.
and second, Pagalguy when closing a forum should give a proper reason for closing. If one news channel could give you all the opinions, why need other news channels. have just DD news and be happy with it. Sorry users of these forums for breaking the chain of discussions on these forums.

dude, i wld like to say that the reliance add is the most informative and to the point ad that we can see on tv.
its true that in that ad featuring a couple the hubby looks like he is gonna pick up a fight, but beleive me when told ba new products thats how some people react.
its features diff style of people and the ad tries to promote various features of the phone by targetting various situations.
(EG) the couple to say that landlines are available with sms
the executive to say that landlines are available with internet
the comman man to say that bills are charged only for usage
its a nice add, featuring no top class models, but very well puting theire point thru

There was one more ad (the product i do not remember), but it was for a dish washing bar. One fat guy looks down at his plate to see the reflection of another person who had peviously eaten on the same plate. The ad did serve it's purpose, but left me with a bad taste. I couldn't eat off the house plates for a month!!!
