why didnt you go for mtech despite having very good rank in gate?why are you leaving tcs having a good name and fame for bel?then they entered into project i tried to avoid but they splitted the hair of it they asked very deep inside project even the programming done in ics(bad phase of my interview) ...then they switched into technical portion randomly(good phase of my interview)...list
all type of power amplifier ?limitations of class c?push pull comes under which group?why distortions increases from class A toD explain properly? Write down 4 oscillators? Then ckts of hartley and colpitts? Then convert 1watt into db,dbm,dbw? Then another member asked about radar displays ,frequency range of doppler shift,list of bel products then they ask what topics you know in digital comm.technology...explain pcm?where is this used? Is pcm used in regular telecommunication field? What is VLF range comm.? Wherere is this used?finally hr question if you lead give preference to some inferior guy despite having your work in promotion what will u do? Interview lasted about 40 minutes

For everyone they're taking 20mins..
For the guys in morning session they took 25-40 mins
They're not much serious about interview... As Barc,isro etc...
Most deciduous factor is ur written score...

the Questions i faced:
1. describe the maxwell's equations?
2. what happens when the high frequency signals propagtes on a transmission line?
3. explain the microwave test bench?4. what characteristics you measure when you do an experiment with gunn diode? (Ans: V-I characteristics along with Power-frequency relation)5. explain directional coupler?6. what is insertion loss?7. what is db and dbm?8. what is dbi? (decible isotropic and read the essence of it!)9. what is isotropic antenna and omnidirectional antenna? (Ans: isotropic antenna radiates uniformly in azimuthal and elevation planes whereas omnidirectional antenna can radiate only in one plane uniformly)10. what is dynamic range of adc and some typical question from that topic i am unable to remember since i couldn't even understand it!!11. what ideal voltage and current sourcce?12. how do you measure the series resistance of a practical voltage source?13. tell me the examples of ideal voltage source?14. what is the skin depth?15. what is primary radar and secondary radar?16. do you know about 3D and 4D radar?17. what is zener diode?18. what is load regulation? (not as a formula but explain it in terms)19. what is the difference between avalanche and zener mechanism?20. which type of breakdown occures at less voltage?
Never expect any question, go with the flow. we feel terrible if we try to impress them, just focus on question. never read the expression of their faces during interview.
HR question:
1. how do you upgrade your technical knowledge?
2. what are your values and ethics?
