1.Nayagan[why? - too many to list.. in 2 words - world class]
2.Karagattakaran[riotous comedy.. All the long list of comedy films will fall short of this one.. Thillu Mullu,Aan Paavam and Michael Madana Kaama Raajan really runs this one close.. ]
3.Baasha[why? - R A J I N I ]

Hindi:
1.Taare Zameen Par[why? - again too many to mention.. script,casting,acting,'hatke' thinking',unbelievable relevance to majority of the audience.. ]
2.Dil Chahtha Hai['coooool']
3.Munnabhai MBBS [ serious issues told in lightest and most entertaining of ways]

English:
1.Usual Suspects [ what a plot? what a screenplay? what a finish !!! mind blowing !!! ]
2.The shining [ Even I think of the movie now - I feel a little trembled.. such is the impact.. ultimate horror movie ! ]
3.The Prestige [ used the intricacies of 'Magic' brilliantly to present a high class dramatic film.. ]

@sir roy keane - inside man is a real good choice. i think chaiya chaiya fitted better in this movie than in dil se.
