compleately agreed boss. but its a gr8r pain for those critics who have to appreciate it under intellectual compulsions.
not for us. we love our jaani dushmans and khooni darindas. lets stick to dem
actually one is spoilt 4 choice here what with perennial gems from apna bollywood .
but I rarely watch such movies...still no1 escapes BAD movies....here are 3 I can remember I hated...
1.Bride & prejudice (Ash killed elizabeth's character...& Darcy....that actor looked like a lost donkey not our haught hot DARCY.................as for the movie as a whole... I wanna personally hunt down G.Chaddha & whack her..but its her giant size that makes me refrain!! : 
) )
2. Raja Hindustani....................I actually slept in the theatre watching this nonsense...
3.Jaani Dushman...Never seen in entirety but it keeps getting aired on ZEE so even a few scenes r enough 2 make u wanna puke!!!

Yup....I am one of the unfortunate souls to have subjected their eyes to the sickening experience.....Red hot Celina Jaitley was the only saving grace...as the bikini clad violin player..

I was just casually going through this thread, read your post and all of sudden realised that u had in fact quoted one of my earlier posts !!
Coming to the point, I repeat "Baghban sucks big time". Some things I just cant stand in movies :-
1) An overdose of sentiments
2) An overdose of preaching family values like maa-baap ki seva karo(and its not as if I identify myself with AB's sons in the movie or that I am against family values). For that matter all of Sooraj Barjatya's movies suck big time.
3) Hindi movies trying to copy regional style of direction(typically southern movies) and making the end product even muckier than the original. Thats why I included Nayak in my list.
4) AB singing.
5) Movies wholly made up of steroetyped characters like Ideal Parents, Ideal son jo 24 hrs maa-baap ki seva karta hai, bad son who doesnt care a damn for his parents, very helpful gujju padosis etc etc. Show me some characters with shades of grey and I can watch the movie.
As you can see all these are present in Baghban, infact the whole movie is abt what I listed out above and thats why IMO it sucks big time.
PS: In case you think my criteria for evaluating "3 worst films" sucks or that this post of mine sucks, I dont have any problem with that.
Baghban was a sad movie. I think apart from Black and to an extent Khaki all of Amitabh Bachhan's recent movies (Post KBC) suck bigtime. He is probably the best example of Bollywood has wasted supreme talent by glorifying him as a superstar. Really saddens me that the same guy who did "Anand" ends up doing Kyoon Ho gaya naa and that recent thing with Revathi, Bhumika and tht new comer.

I wudnt actually mind seeing Celina in a bikini but Fardeen in his kaccha was too much of a sight
. Havent seen the whole movie but from whatever I have seen of it, it sure is an "unforgettable" movie.

I think that every movie in which salman khan is present ( guest roles included) is a sucker.
It all started from "maine pyar kiya" nad now "maine pyar kyon kiya".
Even his acting in "Hum dil de chuke sanam" was nothing more than pathetic.
Ever Since he started all those boring and dirty farting scenes, he has become much worse.
Even mithun is better (or best) than salman "ATLEAST HE DOES NOT FART BETWEEN FIGHTING SCENES"
