@ajaygovindg Reduce fees? Bleh! Just thinking logically, how come the cost of applying to an institute ONLINE is Rs 2000 or more? (I think it was Rs 3300 at FORE No offence bro, really). Makes absolutely no sense. It's not even like I'm buying a John Players shirt at Rs 700 instead of a Park Avenue at Rs 2000. These institutes can't even claim it on the basis of their brand-name.
No offence taken!! I'm not here to market FORE or ask you to join there (At least I can say so now because I have got my degree from there!) :mg:
Application fees, well to an extent it is justified. There are costs involved for them. Doing the whole GDPI process in different cities with proper arrangements made everywhere, calling up industry professionals to be part of the interview panel (yes, of course they're paid for it most of the times except maybe few alumni who may be altruists!!), pay/retain good faculty etc. This is one source of revenue for them, and why would they cut short on it?
I guess its better we take up further discussion on PM as otherwise it might turn nasty in here!! :)
@ajaygovindg I also came to know that the although a few placements are very good, but still placements are not 100% at SOIL. Don't know how authentic that is. @saurabh1938
Like I have said before, having not been there I don't have complete/exact information and I have not done any deep dive research also about the institute. So not sure about the 100% placements and other things. That's why its always recommended that one finds information by self and process/understand it accordingly!! :)

@Bibhu2109 Do you know someone who has passed out from this college while saying no 100% placement. I am looking for these kinds of insider and unbiased facts before joining. Because at pagalguy and also on internet and with loads of time researching about institute, I am yet to find cons about this college except that aicte thing and non resi campus. And if you know this not 100% placement in detail.. please elaborate and how much percentage of the batch gets placed?
