IIT is hard at this score, though you may apply to IIT Kgp for MHRM .
missionCAT13,how is SPM? I guess it is School of Petroleum! I mean,don't experts/seniors refrain an aspirant to join a domain specific institute? With regards to future n all.I have no idea about this institute.I think the best way to get an idea of an institute,is to check for its mandatory disclosure.Is it a good idea??
Well, yes it is recommended most of the time to go for general MBA if you're not sure of which specialization to take, which industry to get into etc. Trust me more than half of the aspirants are like that as people plunge into MBA just looking at the so called ROI or salary packages. Hence that recommendation.
But then for someone who has prior work exp in some sector say Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Retail, Healthcare, Telecom or any other specific sector like that and is sure that he/she wants to continue there and is also having a clear idea on where the MBA can take him, the sector specific MBA is the best option as it will be more helpful in getting placements in that area. Otherwise if you look into a general MBA program (with electives in 2nd year which is how most of top 40-50 institutes are offering) there will 0 or probably 1-2 organizations at max which recruits people into specific sectors like these, as it doesn't make sense to them to have General MBA grads!! Check the placements report of some of those top 40-50 institutes and you'll see how many companies from Oil & Gas or Petroleum sector recruit and if any how many are recruited!!
sir plz tell if all the colleges under mat accept scores of all the 4 mat xmz held???i mean mat is held 4 tyms a year in february,may,september n december??if so wat r the colleges to apply as a back up for cat?will these colleges accept score of mat xm held in the month of may?do these institutes start 4 new batches every year....kindly help.....n reply

As rightly pointed out by @avinashkrjha Sir...not all colleges accepts all 4 MATs...actually it depends on college to college!!...Some Good ones dont accpt May one...some even dont September MAT!! but on the whole all the Good MAT allied colleges accept Dec and Feb ones ! :)
Nope...only once in a year Batches start..that is around May to July :)
