Any fresher here who got <500 MR from NITIE - IM course. Would really like to know since many freshers aren't getting good MR inspite of 99+ percentile scores.
How are people arranging 7.6 lakhs in such short notice?are banks giving loans in such short notice?

What was the final open merit rank to convert pgdsm last year and as we know nitie is going to accept GMAT / gre / gate scores also for SM , are we competing for the same 30 seats or are they being given totally exclusive seats

Looking for suggestion/insights based on my current situation. Please comment if you have any.
I'll start with my profile cos that might help. CAT 2020: 94.76%ile, Acads: 10, 8.6, 7.6, 6 months workex, NC-OBC Engineer Male. All my interviews went alright. NITIE's interview was slightly better than the others. Right now I am waitlisted with Merit Rank 248 in the NC-OBC category for NITIE's PGDIM course. I also have calls from IIM Indore and CAPs and I didn't apply for any other college.
So here's the thing. I have a notice period of 30 days at my company. So, if I convert NITIE (which I'll only get to know in June), I'll have to hand in my resignation by next friday. It's a bit of a leap of faith cos Indore was my best call, and very few people with less than 99%ile convert their best calls. So I'm not very optimistic about Indore. Also, last year NITIE's waitlist moved to Merit Rank NC-266. So, even that doesn't give me enough assurance to quit.
What I want to know from you guys is, should I take the leap of faith and resign? I am only aiming for IIM I or NITIE, but I'm willing to settle for IIM Ranchi/Trichy/Raiput/Udaipur as well. Please do let me know what you guys think.
