You have to chose your specialization 45 days after the commencement of the course.

@ all: To answer all such questions for once, the shortlist will be out only on the 17th January 2013. Till then, we are as ignorant about the same as you. So, I would suggest, we celebrate our results and avoid worrying about the cutoffs till then. 😃

@Aniket97 @vaibhavp Hi. What are the placement scenarios for people with 2+ years of work ex? I have heard that it's difficult for people with 2+ years exp. to get placed, let alone getting placed in a good company.

The GI/PI process will be conducted in Pune itself. You can choose the slot as per your preference.

Students with work experience are considered at par with freshers during the placement process. In fact, if you have relevant experience, you may stand a better chance than a fresher.
