DoMS, NIT Trichy is all set to get fired up with its upcoming general management conclave INACON'18 around the corner.
INACON'18 will have keynote speakers from diverse backgrounds along with a panel discussion amongst industry leaders.

hi what is the cat cut off for OBC?
I've checked the eligibility criteria and it says 'Candidates should have 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OBC'. What if a person has 6.4 CGPA and can get a seperate certificate from the institute stating it is equivalent to 64%? i.e. a CGPA to percentage conversion sheet attested by the institute. Will the person be eligible to apply? Also is the policy same for other NITs too?
INACON’18-Industry Academia Connect
The much-awaited conclave, Inacon ’18, held by the Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy started on 1st December,2018. The conclave was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Satish Rajarathnam (Global HRBP-BFS of Cognizant),Mrs. Annapurna(Director-HR of Inspirage), Mr. Neel Pandya(Head of Media-L’Oréal), Dr. B Senthil Arasu (HOD-DoMS) and the professors of DoMS. It was a start to two days filled with speeches and interactive sessions with some of the top business heads of India
Mr Neil Pandya (Head of media ,Loreal) grabbed the attention of the students for two whole hours, as he spoke about the various facets of advertising, both conventional and digital.
After two very interesting and interactive sessions with Mr. Satish Rajarathnam and Mr. Neel Pandya, the students were part of a very engaging panel discussion. The panel consisted of Mr. Lakshminarayanan G(Senior Manager- Deloitte), Mr. Satyarth Priyadarshi(Head of Product Marketing-JioChat), Mr Sathish Rajarathnam and Mrs. Annapurna. The moderator, Mr. Sovan Panda (CEO and Founder- Mangosteen Holdings), kept the session lively and the students were able to imbibe relevant information on the ‘International Competitiveness of firms in India’

The second day of INACON'18 saw the vast potential of Business Analytics through the session handled by Mr. Visukumar Gopal -Director, Business Excellence - Atos Syntel. The students were guided through a range of topics in the field.
"Digital fluency can accelerate progress".
INACON'18 had a splendid end to it, with an intriguing session on 'Digital Transformation in an Enterprise' by Mr. Pritam Dutta, Head of Global Data Strategy, IT & Digital transformation, Unilever. He enlightened the students on how organisations use data and new age technologies to drive growth and create new avenues for business. This session marked the end of the two-day mega event in which some of the eminent corporate leaders of today met some of the brightest minds of tomorrow.

Input qualification: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in any discipline from any recognised University with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in qualifying degree.
DoMS NIT Trichy WILL USE CAT 2018 SCORES FOR SHORT-LISTING CANDIDATES FOR ITS MBA PROGRAM. SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE TO APPEAR IN GROUP DISCUSSION AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW.
