How was the difficulty level of AIMCAT 1911???
VARC-21C/34A-54 Pretty bad. Got an entire RC wrong. Made very silly mistakes over here.
DILR-25C/2W 74 Very easy DILR, expecting lots of 75+ scores here.
QA - 21A/7W -38. Lowest QA score till now. Pathetic, but the paper was relatively a little tougher. Still have to really try something new over here.
Overall - 166. Expecting loads of 185+ scores this time, similar to 1914.
VARC :- 19C/15W - 49 ..... Pathetic accuracy .. messed up royally.
DILR :- 24C/6W - 68 ...... Messed up an entire set .. should have been much better , this was a pretty easy section .. just not my day I guess.
QA :- 19C/4W - 55 ..... Wasn't too tough , but i got stuck n a couple of questions and did'nt attempt enough , this paper was much tougher than the previous aimcats tho.
OA :- 62C/25W - 172 .. Pretty horrible .. Time to hit the books again , with very little time left for CAT , I have to start showing some improvement..
Varc- 40 barbaadi Lrdi- 61 yeh bhi doob Gaya, possible many 75+ in this section Qa- 64 bakwaas, lengthy tha, but easy overall OA- 165 wapis 97 hi aayega... Tips do koi improve Karne ka Why are the mocks easy compared to last year?
VA- 54 (Need to increase reading speed)
LRDI - 66 (One set wrong)
QA-71 (26A/24C)
OA - 191
Difficulty compared to last aimcat ?
Hey everyone ! I need some advice.
This is my second attempt for CAT and other such exams. Last year I did not enroll for AIMCATs but did for simcats. This year too I have enrolled for simcats.
I am interested in attempting aimcats this year. But what is the package ( basic or enhanced etc) do you guys go for ??
Which do people in general go for ??

Verbal- 72 (25C/9W) finally!!! Accuracy returned after a couple of bad performances! LRDI- 52 (18C/3W) LoL! I was so happy with my LRDI score before I logged into pagal guy. Now this score seems like 20 short 😂 QA- 53 (19C/7W) Bad accuracy :( But I hope more aimcats have quant at this level. It was good practice and an eye-opener. Was growing complacent with average quant scores. OA- 177 Average score. Paper was definitely 190+ so about 13 short.
VA - 41 (15C/8W)
DILR - 80 (27C/2W) FML , needed just 2 more minutes to complete the last set. It was one of the easiest DILR sections
QA - 49 (17C/5W) On the contrary, this felt like one of the most difficult of the recent QA sections.
OA - 170 (59C/15W) When DILR clicks, QA lets down :(
VARC-20( urgent help needed) DILR-72 QA-36(shame on being an engineer) OA-128(shit yr)
VARC 27 13C/17W (This section is highly unpredictable) DILR 52 18C/2W (just can't increase my speed...help needed....a very poor score indeed!!!) QA 53 19C/4W (found it quite lengthy....shitty accuracy again!!!) OA:132 (No improvement as far as scores are concerned )
Hey everyone !! I have a query, if someone could clear this up for me, it would really help a few people like me who are out there.
So can someone explain the scaling that occurs in the CAT exam ?? Is it a scale up or a scale down ?? Or neither ?? Is it true that there are people who attempt more and their scores get enhanced by a large margin ?? By large I mean anything beyond 7-8 marks.
There's a testomony by a guy online who says he attempted all his questions in DI LR,in cat 2017 slot 1, got 24 correct and 8 wrong, but a scaled score of around 80. He has his scorecard to back up this fact. and he's not bluffing ppl.
Is there some secret formula for scaling that I am not aware of and others are ?? How does difficulty level play up in this scaling thing ??
Can someone shed some light on this ??

VARC - 57 DILR - 58(Should have done better) QA - 45( Lack of pratice!) OA - 160
VA - 54 (I found the section pretty tough, especially the RCs) DILR - 68 (Probably the easiest DILR paper in this year's aimcat series till now) QA - 60 (Paper was relatively tougher than the rest but very much doable, practice wasn't up to the mark) Overall - 182. This aimcat was relatively better than the rest, but need to level up my game since D-Day is knocking on the door.
VA/RC - 44 (16C/27A) DI/LR - 67 (23C/28A) QA - 55 (19C/24A) (Didn't expect such a low score) OA - 166 (58C/78A) Yet another low performing AIMCAT.
VARC 63 (34A, 23C) DILR 56 (21A, 19C) Read a statement wrong and ended up wasting 20 mins. Gotta be really careful here QA 59 (26A, 21C) Too many mistakes OA 178
Varc 43 (help needed urgently) dilr 74 (pb) qa 52 ( woh this was tough) oa 169 the bad run continues..
Varc- 53 (34A/20C) again bad Lrdi- 77 (28A/26C) Qa- 66 (30A/23C) Terrible QA OA-196 good mock, cud hv been better just missed the 200 mark, many wud get ut who hv good accuracy in qa
