The Final placement report for the batch of 2014-16 is out on IIM Ranchi website.
The PGDM batch witnessed 61 companies visiting the campus to make 132 offers to 119 students.The rising trend in placements was corroborated by the increase in the average compensation by 13%.
Average CTC : 15.14 LPA & 14.80 LPA (domestic)
Top 12%+ : 20 LPA
Top 20% : 19.73 LPA and
Top 50% : 16.98 LPA
This season saw 18 Lateral offers to the people with higher prior work experience.
IIM Ranchi is the only IIM to offer a specialized two years course in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM).
Average CTC : 13.49 LPA
Top 10% : 18.09 LPA
Top 20% : 17.02
The batch of 2014-16 made their worth felt in the industry by bagging top offers from some of the biggest names in the country. 24 companies visited the campus to roll out offers to the HR students. 13 new recruiters participated in the placement process. The growth of the average compensation by 7% is testimony to the trust that the industry has in IIM Ranchi graduates.

Do all the new iims (RRRTUK) provide waitlist nos.? Also, how good was the waitlist movements last year for each new iim? TIA

Now since all the old IIMs have declared their final results, what exactly is holding back the new iims to declare theirs?
It is apparent from the placement reports that few students from new IIMs are unable to get placed. What are the reasons usually? What do they do then? How bad is it?
Since IIM Ranchi has a PGDHRM programme, does that mean the students of PGDM aren't allowed to choose HR as they specialisation if they wish to after 2nd year? Also, among the new IIMs are there any which are good for HR?
How can we check the new IIMs result. Will it be displayed on a common portal or do we have to check the website of each IIM?
Also will the selected students receive a mail for admission?
