@swatahsiddha Chances for pgpm at Wl 27 given that I had applied only for the pgpm course?
The AO doesn't want to disclose the waitlist information of candidates who have been selected for a course that is not there first preference. They would disclose it only after the first instalment is paid. It would have been so much better had they given some idea about internal waitlist of candidates. I mean, the MDI authorities want to suck money from candidates in each and every way. I guess it's true, in a country like India, private college will always remain private.

Completely dejected to say the least. I don't understand what these top B schools are expecting out of us. Why do they even call someone with lesser than 97 percentile if they don't have much interest in selecting them?
I answered all 10 or so questions asked to me in my PI correctly, even though it went on for just 6-7 minutes. They didn't even take much time to evaluate me properly.
They gave a very basic topic in GD (on cricket) and for 10 minutes for 15 members. Of course it was a fish market. What else do they expect with a topic like that. I thought I made good enough points and I could make others nod in agreement to my points as they were good.
After all this I expected atleast a decent enough waitlist. Instead what I get is a waitlist number of 888. I felt like I was tightly slapped by MDI people.
Don't know what else to prepare even I want to give it another try. I will finally go to maybe IMT

Is MDI comes under the RTI filing? It is a shocker to get waitlist of 245 for below profile Cat 99.22 X 82 XII 86 Grad 81.6 Workex 42 months Avg WAT Good GD Good PI It is highly unpredictable from MDI process? Will MDI will release the merit rank and composite so that we are able to know where we lack from the 97 and 98 percentilers who got selected?? Anyone from admin team please reply....
If 95 was the final figure for last to last year, then what was the equivalent figure for last year?
What is the refund policy for the initial amount that we are required to pay before 5th may. Adcom please clarify.
Could someone please tell what was the WL movement for last year PGPM. Everyone seems to know the data about last to last year. Having an idea about last year's data would help a lot. If anybody knows pls share it
@swatahsiddha i have converted for PGPHRM (2nd preference). Assuming that I have a rank at the lower end of the 60 converted people. What are my chances for upgradation? This may be a speculative question, but request you to answer based on last year's data.This may help in deciding about paying for HRM course. Thanks in advance.
Converted HRM (second preference). What are the chances of upgradation to pgdm. I have a commerce background with above average academics.
Thank you MDI for making me re-believe in that so called Luck Factor. A WL 118 at 99.21 . X 88 XII 86 Gradd 8.32 Work ex 22 months. Overall good WAT GD PI process. So in the end it all pin downs to the panel you arr assigned for. Luck you see is bitchy. It strikes hard at your confidence. Imagine a week before where i was so confident that i gave a early resign from my job. And then there came this week to break all self belief i had. Luck what the f***. Sayonara. I hope I will get a better one.
@swatahsiddha I got a mail saying I have got provisional admission for PGPM but on the website when I enter my credentials it shows that I have either been rejected or my credentials are wrong. Is there a slight chance that I got a mail by mistake?

Hi guys.. I had a query specific to PGPIM. What happens to those people who fail to secure an internship in Europe ? Does the college help them to do the same. Sorry for being cynical, but considering the worst case senario, how s**t it must be, that ur peers work for 6 months in europe and meanwhile you hunt for internship ? @swatahsiddha

@swatahsiddha will there be 2 lists for internal movement..I found last years list which was released on 2nd june but here u r saying that a list will be out by 3rd week of may.
