what is the cut off for this college?

Thank you very much for your interest in MYRA.
MYRA does not have any cut-offs for entrance exam scores. Having said that, we would like to mention that we get students in the range 600-770 GMAT and 60 to 90% CAT.
MYRA takes into account the following for admission:
1. Consistent academic record (10th, 12th and Graduation)
2. CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE Scores
3. Statement of Purpose (SoP) Essay
4. Quality and quantity of work Experience; and also extra curricular activities
MYRA looks for people with passion and drive to make a difference...so CAT scores are important but not critical.
For example a person with a CAT score less than 80% who has demonstrated strong leadership qualities would be chosen over a person with a CAT Score above 80% with an unimpressive leadership record. Therefore, as much as a higher entrance exam score does not guarantee an admission, having a lower score does not mean rejection.

Well-accomplished and renowned academic Dr. Sudhindra Seshadri joins MYRA leadership as Senior Associate Dean (Academics) and distinguished professor of marketing (http://bit.ly/1hMWR3h).
Dr. Sheshadri began his tenure at MYRA with a special talk on 'The Durable and the New in Contemporary Business Education' on September 1, 2015. He brings rich and varied experience and expertise of three decades in both academia and research to help MYRA reach greater heights. He has not only excelled in research, teaching and educational administration in B Schools across the world, but also has set up the Entrepreneurship Incubation Centres.
An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, Dr. Sudhi Seshadri has been a faculty at leading US and Asian management schools, such as the RH Smith B-School, University of Maryland, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, ISB, Hyderabad and, most recently Singapore Management University. After his PhD from the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University, his research focuses on business marketing strategies, and he has served on doctoral research committees and has taught marketing courses at all levels.
Dr. Seshadri has published over two-dozen papers in international conference proceedings and select international journals, including Industrial Marketing Management, Marketing Science, Management Science, and Managerial & Decision Economics. He has authored a book Sourcing Strategy: Principles, Policy and Designs, published by Springer-Verlag.

MYRA is pleased to welcome its newest partner in Germany, the Julius Maximilian University of Wrzburg - a 600 year old university, where 14 Nobel Laureates have researched and taught.
MYRA adds one more partner to its list of associate schools - W.P Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, US ; the Catolica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Portugal ; and University of Washington Bothell.
In line with our mission to offer global exposure and experience, MYRA has already sent a total of 30 (of the 115 students) abroad under the "Study Abroad" Program to Europe and USA.
Six of the founding batch of PGDM students and another six of the second batch of PGPX(2015) students spent a Semester/Trimester in Catolica Lisbon during 2014-15. A batch of 12 students of the second batch of PGDM students (PGDM -2016) went to US in May-June 2015 for our Global Immersion Program with University of Washington Bothell.
With the association of Julius Maximilian University of Wrzburg, a batch of 5 students will be going to Germany in the summer of 2016.
The Julius Maximilian University of Wrzburg which was established in 1402 is ranked 2nd in Germany and 29th in Europe. The University of Wurzburg is one of the leading universities in Germany being part of the U15 group of research-intensive German universities. The university is also a member of the distinguished Coimbra Group which is an association of long-established European multidisciplinary universities of high international standard.

We are happy and proud to present one of our faculty Dr. Radha B Radhakrishna, Managing Partner, FAV Partners (Darien, Connecticut), who taught the core course on Corporate Financial Accounting at MYRA in August-September 2015. Dr. Radhakrishna has a distinguished teaching record - having taught at the Columbia Business School, Wharton Business School, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Simon Business School, and Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota - where he was named an Outstanding Teacher and nominated for the Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Radhakrishna holds a B.Com (Honors) from the University of Calcutta, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta, and an MA and PhD from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Radhakrishna has been teaching Corporate Financial Accounting course at the MYRA School of Business since the founding batch in 2013.His association with MYRA is three years old, as he has taught all of the cohorts of PGDM and PGPX. And we look forward to welcoming him again in 2016.

"While writing this piece, I am recollecting a befitting phrase for MYRA i.e. 'ROME is not built in a day'. I have immense trust and faith that MYRA has potential to be a world class management Institute especially because of its extraordinary Infrastructure, World class faculties & Unique Immersion Model adapted as per Indian requirements.
Life after MYRA has been challenging but MYRA Experience per se had prepared me well for taking these challenges head on and move forward towards success. Currently I am Co-Founder & CEO of a Start-up Online Grocery portal (www.minutekart.com) in Garden city (Bangalore). I am doing multitasking at its best to scale up the operations. Currently working with a very thin team, but as business scales up, will be ramping up across functions.
My advice to newbies is, have full trust, faith in your abilities, decisions & benefit yourself from the ocean of knowledge flowing in the form of excellent faculties in MYRA.

For many B Schools, placement is a process, but at MYRA it is a mission. How are we different?
Placement is a 24/7, 365 day activity at MYRA, which begins with the Week of Welcome in June and ends only when every student gets placed. Since it is our core mission, placement is not the responsibility of and left to the placement office / Career Services Division. Our placement mission is lead from the top from Chairperson to Advisor to Deans and Faculty. This year (2015-16), MYRA began its academic session with a Week of Welcome (WoW) in June 2015 and we had heads of companies such as IndusInd Bank, Meritor, Sonata Software, TCS, and many others visiting, speaking and interacting with the students. And this continues through the year though the platform of Corporate ConneXion Talks; where in heads of HR of companies are invited to MYRA campus for pre-placement talks. The Common Admission Test is apart from being a brutally competitive
exam is also a test of a candidates deeper personal strengths and
weaknesses. For it not only tests ones aptitude in areas such as
quantitative ability, logical and analytical reasoning plus verbal and
reading comprehension but also tests ones decision making under time
pressure. For not only there is a time limit but also a penalty for
guessing a wrong answer.
One of India's best batsmen, Rahul Dravid was famed for his decision
making on which ball to play and which ball to leave alone, a skill that
earned him his nickname of :The Wall". CAT candidates would do well to
take a leaf out of The Wall and develop similar skills in terms of which
question to answer and which ones to leave alone. In general, if you do
not understand a question in full, it is better to skip that question
for there is no point in risking one's hard earned points.
The other big challenge is managing ones time - rather in deciding on
the time you want to allocate for each section. This problem is
compounded in 2015 since once you move on from one section, you cannot
go back. The best approach to address this is to get an idea of one's
relative strength in each section based on taking a sufficient number
of mock tests. Based on this you need to allocate an upper time limit
for each section and move on to the next section once you cross the time
for that section that you have set for yourself. This carries a risk of
waste of precious time in the last section if you finish early. In the
previous exams you could go back and either revise your answers or
attempt those you have skipped - something not possible this time. This
risk can be mitigated by taking up your toughest section last, if that
choice is available.
