A Day at AIIM

My day starts at 7AM as usual. Last night we had a long discussion as to whether Air Force One should be handled by the private sector or just left to the Public sector. The arguments from a varied experienced batch made such topic very stimulating, and gave us a potential opportunity to explore Public vs. Private Ownership at great length. All of us knew that our thirst for knowledge of the Infrastructure sector would be quenched by the highly experienced faculty and I was eagerly waiting for the class to begin.

I started my day reading about the mystery of the missing coal files followed by giving some final touches to the OB assignment. I had my breakfast by 08:45AM and was in class room by 08:50AM. There were two consecutive lectures of Infrastructure Policy and Regulations which were supposed to cover Public and Private Ownership topic. At sharp 09:00AM, the Instructor started the class, asking us to present the latest happenings on different sectors from the Infrastructure domain. Each individual used his rich experience was able to blend it with the news from sector and delivered the presentations within the time frame given. The Instructor covered the basics of the given topic which was followed by a healthy debate among us. Every one pitched in and brought in their rich and varied experience to the table. It was announced that the topic for the next session was Public Private Partnerships and a case study on Yogyakarta Bus Terminal

I moved on for a well-deserved Lunch at 01:15pm.

Next was the financial accounting lecture which started by 02:15pm. I had done my homework for Cash Flow topic which was supposed to be covered by the professor in two consecutive classes today. The professor distributed additional hand outs to each individual which supplemented the lecture and made it easy to grasp the concepts with the least effort possible. Today's session was great as usual and instilled in me the confidence to pull out the financial statements of organisations and analyse the transactions with great depth.

After Lecture at 05:15 PM, we had some discussions at the tea table reflecting on the learning's we have each day. It was great day today as usual with great insight from the policy and finance side. It's time for some ping pong followed by some work out at the gym. My preparations for tomorrow's classes would begin by 8.00 pm with our respective study groups. Over all I am a happy man today. Until next time….

Is there a minimum cutoff score for CAT?

@Kris17

Dear Sir,

Is there a minimum cutoff score for CAT?

No, there is no minimum cut off score for GMAT or CAT. However, a competitive score strengthens the application, though it does not guarantee admission. Similarly, a lower score does not necessarily mean exclusion.

I am a girl with acads 10th 74%, 12th 66%, grad 70 (BE, Mechanical) and work experience of 3 Yr 7 months at managerial level. Currently I'm scoring between 70 to 80 percentile in my mock CATs and will be writing CAT within a week,,,pls give me some info @ offered course at AIIM,,
