WL toh abh move hogi with results of IIMs , XL all about to come. and even ppl with preference for XIMB should pull out ( very few though ).....

@poojapps All B-schools inflate their placement reports. NM is no exception. And this year is particularly tough with average placement of sub 10 lpa and 100% placement seems a farther dream. But again this is the issue with all B-school in NM range. So dont go with a preconceived notion of a 13 lpa average package and a good summer placement. Look at all the options you have and take an informed decision keeping 2015 market conditions in mind.

only a senior can answer ur query as far as inflation of packages is concerned SPJAIN inflated its average package to 16.xx lacs whereas its actual average package according to CRISIL report was 12.xx lacs so its a waste of time speculating on avg packages if u want to join a college which guarantees an avg package of above 12 lacs then u have only the top 4 IIMs,FMS and XLRI.One more thing a good college does give u a good platform for a good placement but a lot depends on ur profile for eg if u have less than 80% marks in ur grad u may not be allowed to sit in the placement process of some company XYZ which is offering u 20 lacs package so dont expect that u will bag a plump placement by just joining any excellent b-school a lot depends on how u perform in ur 2 yrs and ur past academic record even IIMites are not able to sit for placements in certain companies which offer high pay packages just because their academic record was average this is the harsh reality dear so u have to cope with it......
