very good actually
@gs4890 there are too much negative words for this course regarding placements....
@malfoy1988 said:True . The only thing that seniors say when u ask them about BM/CM placements is " The report is on the website " , even though they know that the report on the site is for the all courses combined . Dont know why nobody is actually telling about individual course placements .I've converted both CM and BM . Didnt pay fees for CM , now not paying even for BM . Have a friend who joined CM last year . He says CM has avg about 7 to 7.5L and it is better than BM . If this is the case and the combined report on the site says 13L average for the whole batch , then according to this the average for only CORE would be around 15L . I seriously doubt that figure.

It's Official on website now. Proud of MBA CM guys !! :gm:
PUYS....is there any FB group made for NM core convert guys...for accomodation and networking purpose??
@parthdoshi09 said:all the puys waiting for the placement reports, the scenario of placements is different this year.Large batches are taking longer to place thier students...http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2012-03-06/mumbai/31126575_1_placement-process-student-placement-committee-recruitment-co-ordinator

@anubhadh : mam i was in same dilemma 2 years back, but i went ahead with core...but after spending 2 years here, i can assure you HR is as good as core here....small batch ensures early placements as well... and the numbers have been pretty good as well...only this is consulting firms like bain etc dont visit the campus
@dhruvwali said:See when we went for the interviews the mam who was invigiltign told us that the placements are going "well" and that 3~4 companies have come till now.. This was in Feb and placements had started much earlier.. She also admitted that considerign that this course is new the placements are decent...
@riyazquest said:Core being NMIMS Flagship course, we can get good jobs with better salary given you do well in those 2 years. I don't want to speculate anything about BM/CM as I already work in a Bank and I can become a Scale-3 Officer here in 4-5 years, that is why i opted out of BM. If I join BM and after spending 16 Odd lakh rupees ill end up in the same scale-3 Officer post which is the case for a lot of b-school students I have seen in Banks this year.
@thaparian said:dude, out of the batch of 30 ppl, lets say 5 have PPO and those 4 companies took 3 students each....do the maths and you ll realize that approx 60% of the batch was already placed
thaparian the only thing u need in a bank to get promoted is good annual rating and u shud pass jaiib and caiib exams, post graduation also has 5 marks for every scale promotion but they take part yime mba also which will cost not more than 1-2 lakh at the max.
converted CM..not joining..waitlist goes up by +1
@thaparian said:very rightly put but the only difference is that going ahead, you might take longer to get promoted without a master's degree...except for that, your reasoning is completely valid
hi guys, i converted mba capital markets. what is the refund policy if i decide to not join after paying the fees? please help me here. thank you
