@dhinamajeevitam - well mostly bcoz its a focused course and people having genuine interest join it.
@dhinamajeevitam Simple reason being PSU's not hiring anymore from colleges becoz of some court case and also becoz after asking a million times on PG and FB not a single BM senior has either replied or explained about the course and its placements this year.

the most basic reason can be the focused cource & placements....obviously the companiesor i shud say banks coming for the placements would be looking for students with the workex in banking sector & if not that then definately for the students who have done CA or sumthing..
Engineers will have a problem overriding all these parameters...

@dhruvwali : Wasn't the HR program a part of the core 2 yrs back? how come when it became separate its being ranked a bit low? May be cuz the official placement figures aint out as of yet for the 1st batch, but leavin that?

True . The only thing that seniors say when u ask them about BM/CM placements is " The report is on the website " , even though they know that the report on the site is for the all courses combined . Dont know why nobody is actually telling about individual course placements .
I've converted both CM and BM . Didnt pay fees for CM , now not paying even for BM . Have a friend who joined CM last year . He says CM has avg about 7 to 7.5L and it is better than BM . If this is the case and the combined report on the site says 13L average for the whole batch , then according to this the average for only CORE would be around 15L . I seriously doubt that figure.
I don't really know whether this is a myth or a fact, but 4 of my friends(all girls) made to CORE in the 1st list itself.
And 3 of us(guys) are wait-listed, and that too near 900-1000 ranks.

May be NMIMS is also looking for the diversity factor, in gender sense!!!

See when we went for the interviews the mam who was invigiltign told us that the placements are going "well" and that 3~4 companies have come till now.. This was in Feb and placements had started much earlier.. She also admitted that considerign that this course is new the placements are decent...
@dhruvwali : lets see..guess then we can only tell when the official placement report will be out..but a friend of mine from college seems to have a diff opinion from what u do

No. of students are also 83.33% less then core :P
NMIMS_CM... are there any chances for a convert for CM at merit no. 1271 ?
