I am a Mechanical Engineeer, doing marketing in an automobile industry.. Couldnt find any courses that could help me ? And I am not interested in HRM.
Basically I am looking for an mba in marketing,would be gracious if someone can guide me here whether its worth applying for TISS with my interest & background.

@gdm4u87, @TISSian : I have made the payment however the status shown is pending. There was some "Django error." But the amount has been debited. I have also dropped a mail but have not got a reply as of now. Am worried with 30th being the last date. Can anyone please help!

It is unique as TISS SE course has more empahsis on the practical knowledge through field trips per semester for 2-3 weeks to understand the needs of the people in the society so that they could bridge the gap of demand and supply by starting their venture
TISS has stopped providing campus placements for SE course as it believes it would be hypocrisy on the part of institute to provide job to those people whom it want to become job-providers
however off-campus opportunities does exist for these student

As I have mentioned earlier HRM & LR placements are at par with any of the top 10 MBA institutes in India if this is only concern take ur call at the earliest

I wanted to know which among Media And Cultural Studies and Developmental Studies has a better future scope and better placement options. What kind of package is expected in placements for these 2 streams. Media and cultural studies has a very low intake. I am from an engineering (Electronics and Telecom background) and currently working in Infosys (IT organization) since the last 2.5 years. Will it hamper my chances of selection during interview (because of IT background). Will my IT work ex hold any relevance dueing placements for the branches Media And Cultural Studies and Developmental Studies

Need one clarification ... I have filled MA in HR course in the form but after thorough research I found out that MA in Social Entrepreneurship is the course that I was looking for . Is it possible that I can fill the form again or edit the same form ..
