@ Anyone who can tell-- At the end of the admission process,if the category seats are not filled up,are they transferred to the General category............???...I feel its a very imp.question.....

I have applied for TISS HR online. Payment also by netbanking. But didnt get any mail from TISS after that. It displayed Acknowledgement in the end. Do they send any mail after that???

@ttanmay I also didnt rcvd any mail .The Acknowledgement is their official reply and confirmation regarding the application.They will send the ADMIT CARD via mail in 4th week of december(as specified in tiss prospectus).

Generally TISS doesn't send any mail , don't worry as long as u submitted the application :)

Thanks @greedyanimal . I have filled wrong graduation % too. CGPA or marks me galti kar di. Hope that will not create problem because earlier read that u will be allowed to change/edit marks if u will be selected for PIT.

I am an engg. graduate (May 2012 passed out) . Right now I am teaching at some coaching , so can I show my teaching experience as WORK EXPERIENCE in TISS . Do I get a less preference then others who had corporate experience. Plz let me know.

I don't have the exact figures for other streams but can tell you about HR.
In our batch of 60 students, there are 47 engineers. In the seniors, the number is less than 30.
The panelists do not have plans in mind as to whom to take and whom not to take. They take the candidate they find suitable, irrespective of his/her background.

Yes you can show that as work-experience. Read my post above. There is no preference for any background, work-ex and any such past event

I have dropped mail to change my academic details as they were incorrect according to my credentials, But TISS authority is not doing so. They replied that they can't change it. Does this make any impact to my profile? will they give me one more chance to fill my academic details during intervies

Hey the model paper says no negative marking... so i hope we can conclude there will be no negative marking in the actual paper also.
