@gdm4u87 said:There is nothing like preference, as I have mentioned earlier. If you convert more than one program, you can chose whichever you want to join.
Call after 20th march
. Seems as if even they don't know what to do . "DEKHTE HAIN" should tell you the whole story.....:)
Please reply to this..
Could someone kindly post a link which will direct me towards a cultural and media studies thread? Also, any idea wrt the cut off. Thank you.
@warun88 said:Are you sure about that ? reasons for asking :1) The admission site says : "In case the candidate is selected for more than one programme after National Common Entrance Test, Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview, admission will be offered to the programme higher in the order of preference."2) I just called up TISS care : at first the lady said its acc. to preference only , when I inquired further then she said "DEKHTE HAIN " Call after 20th march . Seems as if even they don't know what to do .I didn't bother much abt the preferences while applying , and nobody explained this weird logic even before the PIT ( else i would had opted out of the course i was less interested in ).I was wondering if you could re-verify and let us know .
@aka06 said:@himanoj1982 Sir, How much importance is given to past academic records and I have 2 Years Experience in lateral hiring, so during the selection process would it give me an edge over other candidates. Kindly Clarify..
@himanoj1982 said:no specific weightage to past academic records...Your past experience can surely help you in the interview (however no weightage is attached to it). Its just that u wud be confident in answering the questions...
@aka06 said:Thanks Sir. Just One More Query I have also done mu UG in HRM (key areas labour laws but not in very much detail and HR related stuff) from DU so what sort of questions can i expect related to my work-field and acads. Kindly reply
@himanoj1982 said:Expect some grilling on HRM and labour laws then...Of course there will be questions on ur company and job....
@viewpt said:how is the placement this time??
@himanoj1982 said:Come to the campus for interviews...All ur queries will be resolved....

@viewpt said:Sirjee, you are sitting thr so thought to get known frm you only..moreover you were solving the doubts of people here so thought you can tell better. but i didn't expect that i'll get this kind of response..strange..
@gdm4u87 said:At least till last year, that was the caseBut the first point makes me feel that they might have changed the rule this time around. This is the reason why all seniors repeatedly asked you to read all instructions carefully before filling out the form.Anyways, now that the bird is already out of the hand, I would suggest you not to think too much about it. As the lady said, believe in "dekhte hain"
