@Anchun Keep this cool advice with you......for ur kind info.i have nowhere stated that its part of ur course or nt but as per this thread "TISS HR and other programs queries" there should be someone to guide apart frm HRM course.i have posted the comment few days back and as a responsible student and senior it's ur moral duty to guide each and every one irrespective of the course.if u don't have the info.then atleast tell that u don't know or will get the info.from somewhere.if not then plz do change the name of this thread or stop giving ur valuable advice.lastly I very well know the image of TISS and I have nowhere written anything which will spoil the image of TISS
This message is not just for you but for everyone present over here and on other threads:
1) The very purpose of naming this thread the way it has been named is to make sure that students applying to other programs are not deterred from asking a query.
2) We try our level best to find seniors from other courses to help the aspirants. We even try to persuade those of whom we can to spend some time and help you out. However, we can, in no way guarantee that the query regarding a particular program will be responded to.
3) As Anvesh said, in the midst of our tight schedule (you will know it once you get into a management institute), we are trying our best to address as many queries as we can. I am sure the seniors of other institutes active on the respective threads are doing the same. Please do not take things for granted and as something that is your right. Do not take a dig at any of the seniors or the institute.
@Anchun Dear Sir, It would do a great lot of good, if you could assist the aspirants of the Climatic Change and Sustainability Studies , with knowledge about the prospects of this course from industry point of view. I understand that this course is relatively new and lot of us are clueless about the future course of career opportunities that taking this course can lead to. It would be really kind of you , if you could gather some information to help us decide further!
i have applied to 3 courses, globalisation n labor, regulatory gov'nance and urban policy in that order. While i m starting to get a bit apprehensive about the 1st one going by the placement brochure (and it is actually something i would have wanted to really do), i m totally in the dark about the next two as well as there is absolutely no information available in any forum. I would really appreciate some more details about any of the 3 and especially the 1st one.
Pre-Interview Test Eligibility for Pre-Interview Test (PIT)/ or Personal Interview (PI) Short-listing of candidates for the second round of selection (PIT and PI) will be based on cut-off marks to be decided later by the Institute. Only short-listed candidates will receive call letters for the second round (PIT and PI) to be held in Mumbai. The Pre-Interview Test consists of either a Group Discussion (GD) or a Written Test. Important Detailed Application Form For all Programmes: Candidates short-listed for PIT and PI will be required to download the Detailed Application Form, which will be available at www.tiss.edu after declaration of Online Test results on February 1, 2013. All candidates are required to bring the hard copy of the form duly filled in along with original caste, income and degree certificates as applicable , when they come for the PIT and PI.
hey..i got selected for Media and cultural studies in TISS ..but ma score is too low its only 52 ..pls can any1 guid me how to prepare for PIT n PI..which all topics r imp for PIT..n there gonna be essay writting or GD for MCS..n most imp do i even have lil chance of getting selected with such low marks? how many candidates they select for PIT nPI round approximately ?
