My score is as follows

Overall score: 89

Quants + DI: 30/30
Verbal: 25/30
GK: 34/40

By the way I belong to OBC NC. I know I will get a call from TISS, but have to perform really well in PI. Because TISS PI is considered to be one of the toughest nut to crack. Congrats to all those who scored above 80 overall.

I am just curious to know how difficult was the last year paper. Because I find the paper to be easy except for few questions in verbal and GK. What was the last year cut-off for HRM program for different categories such as General, OBC, SC and ST. Also does any one have any idea about how many people approximately are writing TISS. I presume that cutoff for General candidates for HRM program would be around 82-85.

@pgharish Last year cutoff 42/70 . As per specualtion 15000 aprox write TISS, out of these how many apply for HRM is not known !!

According to CL KEys m getting 90.
What will be the next step? What will be the syllabus for the pre interview test??

@poornaveturi this test is only for eliminating the non serious candidates, in the second round in HRM u r going to appear in specific test/detail interview.in DS i hope GDand Interview is there,In DS the board is very agressive they ask questions from economics.more than 80 is dam safe for DS for HRM also it seems.TISS have policy to invite more candidates for second round it may be in the ration of 1:10 to 1:10 becoz they want social sensitive candidates.

@Smartbirdie there will b 25 marks written exam fr u in whic there wil b 2 passages dealing with social issues and u hav to answer question afta reading the passage.

@tapannn The model question paper had three sections namely - Analytical Reasonning, Language Section and Social Issues. Are there any reference books for these???? Thanks in advance.... :)

dont know any specific book bt reading newspapers wil surely help ,jst go thru socially sensitive issues of last couple of yrs,write down them n analyse them and look them by ur pt of view and try to attach them wid the question u r asked 😛 :)

Can you please throw light on the following courses - M.A. Social Entrepreneurship/M.A. Social work in livelihoods and Entrepreneurship. Does TISS offer placements for these courses/they guide us to start own business? How different is Social Entrepreneurship compared to Entrepreneurship. Also, please let me know the cut off for these courses last year.
