scoring 70 in tiss , i have applied for MA in social work in community development,waht are may chances or what will be the cutoff, please reply if u have any idea

We as a batch have taken a collective decision to not speculate anything on teh cutoffs. The papers are sealed and nobody has any clue of how its gonna be. Not even the TISS administration. We request you guys not to try and speculate but remain optimistic.
Besides TISS DOES NOT GIVE ROLE BASED calls, so if u clear the cutoff u get a call. However your profile may be. And evena fter that your profile is just a qualifying criteria!

Just answered your question above. Besides, we will provide all the help and guidance e can. But only after the results for the next round are out. DO general preparation of an interview and an essay. you will get pointers from your senior batch on 1st feb. ATB!

@JD fresher, what difference does that make, first shortlist will be solely based on your score and category of course, after that also It would not make any difference if you perform well in PI round, yes at the time of Placement, having Work Ex in any field can help, but till then you stand equal

thanks, but I wanted to know what is the expected cutoff this time for HRM, since the paper are easy ... I score 86 in the CL key.... and I am from General category
Hmm , probably, you haven't gone through this thread, its full of similar queries, every one is curious ,but no one will be able to answer this, Cl has predicted between 77-83 and Time between 85-90, for HR- general category, but u never know, My take is that Tiss being such a reputed institute will never raise its cutoff to 90+, even if it means to call more number of students for the second round, anyways 86 is a good score, just wait till 1st feb ,even better start preparing for Essay writing and Pi
