1) The placement report for the finals (2010-12) and summers (2011-13) have already been uploaded on the website.
2) We don't offer any specialization in IT and Systems. As of now, four specializations are offered in MBA - finance, marketing, HR and operations. There is a separate MBA course in Infrastructure Management as well.
3) The room allocation in hostel is triple sharing with attached washroom and all basic amenities.
For the 2012-14 batch, the calls were given on the basis of snap score only. For the final selection, the performance in ge/ pi plays an important role and we look at the candidate as a whole. Last year SCMHRD followed a waiting pool system where everyone who was waitlisted was clearly intimated of the fact.
@[604108:maverick.SCMHRD] hello sir,how the scmhrd gives the call???how should i prepare for snap getting the admission in scmhrd or sibm???I have no work exp as i am freshers so is there any chances of getting the admission in scmhrd or sibm??
I am not the right person to comment on SIBM. As far as SNAP is concerned, concentrate on getting your basics rights and prepare for GK because that is one portion everyone misses out during their preparation for CAT, XAT etc.
SCMHRD's selection process was through SNAP score last year. However, the same is subject to change this year. Work-ex is not a mandatory criteria for selection as all other aspects of a candidate profile is judged for the final call including acads, extra-curriculars, GE-PI performance and all. As of now, focus on SNAP and other exams.
I have done many social activities,I have certificatgion english universities,I have played as a state player in volleyball teamfor twice and also as a city level for 5 times
etc... Is this a right profile for getting selected after passing GD/PI??
@SNSHAH said: From where I am going to prepare general knowlwdge and current affairs questions??
The best thing to do is to read the newspapers on a daily basis. Also, magazines like Competition Success Review and material provided by the coaching centres are comprehensive. Go through the previous preparation threads, you will probably find everything under the sun !
a) Your academics is pretty decent however for getting shortlisted for GD-PI, you have to secure a good SNAP score first. So if you get a high score in SNAP, getting a GD-PI call should not be a problem.
b) As far as placements is concerned, private coaching is not considered as full-time work experience. Your job at Wipro BPO will however be considered. However, for placements, having a good work-ex is not a compulsion as it is your overall personality that matters. So if you can prove yourself in these 2 years through good academics and gaining exposure through the various opportunities that are offered over here, placements won't be a problem at all.
For final selection, the overall profile of the candidate is judged which includes his academics, extra-curriculurs, achivements etc and also GD-PI performance, communication skills and all other parameters that an MBA graduate must have. As I've mentioned in the previous post, your gap should not be a problem if the other parameters are good.
As of now, concentrate on getting a good score in all your entrances as it is too early to think of all those. Study hard and crack the entrances.
