Pls. answer my queries:

Do mechanical core companies(steel, oil gas, mafg. etc.) visits MIB for IB profiles?
Pls. share this year placement data.
Interested to join next year (after rejected by 5 new IIMs in two consecutive years :biggrin:)
Working as an engineer in Project Management Group of Heavy Engineering firm.
Decent profile (not decent for IIMs :nono:).

Feel happy if you share profiles offered also.

Cut-Off is independent of profile and Work-Ex. Only CAT scores are taken into consideration...

Well, it is mentioned on the first post of this thread. The cut-off was 93.17 percentile

Just wanted to confirm details mentioned in the first post. I know of someone who got a call at 89 percentile. I am not sure if the Cut-Off was 93.17. :s

In that case, I'd like you to check the details of Rohit Katiyar. GEN category. Percentile around 89.

I want to know about "non-credit" subjects mentioned on this page http://mibdu.ac.in/academics/course-structure.html .Is it same as specialisation in marketing or finanace?Will it considered equivalent to MBA(marketing) or MBA(Finance).Please throw some light on this as I am a management graduate and want to do MBA in marketing or Finance.

on-Credit subjects are not specialisations. They are subjects outside the credit (of which examination is taken) subjects of MIB. They are pursued by students as per interest and does not give any further specialization in marketing or finance as MIB itself is specialization is International Business

Why is the MIB website not updated with the admission notification for the Session 2013-14? Can anyone share the cutoffs for reserved categories(OBC)?

I just wanted to know that the last person took admission had %tile around 93 or it was just a criteria for the call ??

Why is this thread so dead? MIB to be rechristened as Master of Management in International Business, any update on this? Has it been done or will be done from the next session?
