Hey..anyone from WBUT background who got through? We are required to get a migration/transfer certificate when we come, but I have no idea from where to get that as we had not been provided the same Any idea anyone?
now that i have converted both sibm-b and siib and both need the first draft by 13th april
i have to ask the inevitable question siib or sibm-b??
please help any suggestion are welcome!

U need to go to the university office at Salt Lake and apply for the same by paying 300 INR... the same wud be ready in couple of weeks time..cheerz

You need to study the modules as they would help you in better grasping of concepts @ MBA . Also u wud be having evals on the same after u join.... for canceling procedure..check the SIIB website... details stated here.. cheerz !
@Santanu.Das : sir what is the following about..? it was mentioned in the offer letter.It is important for you to realize that you will have engagements beyond 14-16 hours per day. You cannot affordto miss any schedules. Any drops will drop your placement rating and opportunities. The institute may alsorelegate you to next year if you are found unsuitable during the process of first semester.

It is just to highlight what is in store for you in these two years of MBA... the schedule is tight with classes and assignments would taking most of your time... and if one make make the most of the learning.. sky is the limit !
And yeah we have 75% attendence mandatory to be eligible for semester exams and 90% for placements. SIIB is very particular about these and no excuses are entertained.
Induction material details would be mailed to you .. u need to study them before joining SIIB as it help u to grasp the concepts at class. Also we have evaluation on the modules.
Hostel alloted a day or two in advance.

i m so happpy....... i finally got my dream college SIIB.......... congrats others who made it....... bt i would like to knw is clg is starting from 4th june... so wen do we will be alloted hostel? and do we need to book room? or it is first come first serve basis? do we have twin sharing in hostel?
sir, do we need to do any other certification course other than clg syllabus for IB programme?

Another problem i'm facing is my end term university exams are in June and the date of joining at SIIB is 4th June. So what shall i do both in order to inform SIIB authorities and to cover up the missed classes during that 2-3 weeks time.

Hi Sir, I have a small query.
I had applied for 2 Specializations IB and E&E.; For both of them I was waitlisted in 1st Merit List.
In the last Waiting List Conversion, I was able to successfully convert E&E;, though still appear shortlisted in 'IB'.
If my understanding is right, Please tell me if WL of these courses move separately. i.e. I can expect conversion of seats in 2nd WL for 'IB' (offcourse, subject to availability of seats)
