ACL,CAIRN,GSPC, OIL, ONGC etc...

midstream companies in India are:
Cairn India,ONGC

downstream companies in India are:
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is the country's dominant downstream player, boasting sales of US$35bn and operating 10 of the country's 18 refineries. RIL HPCL and BPCL etc

Seniors correct me if m wrong.......

The upstream oil sector is also commonly known as the exploration and production.

The midstream sector involves the transportation, storage and marketing of the various oil and gas products produced by processing and refineries.

The downstream sector commonly refers to the petrochemical complex or purification of gas as well as the marketing and distribution of products from crude oil and gas.

Upstream - Exploration & Production.
Example: ONGC, GSPC, Cairn, Reliance, OIL
(Inshort Oil & Gas drilling & production companies

Midstream - Refining/Processing & Transportation.
Example: Reliance, HPCL, IOCL, MRPL, GSPL
(In short Refineries & Transportation/pipeline company)

Downstream - Distribution & Retail Sale.
Example: HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, GSPC Gas, MGL, IGL.
(in short Petrol pumps & gas distribution company)
