No offence to wat u said, but i wanna know why have u reduced the cutoff fro NM Mumbai and increased it for bangalore(last yr bang. was 145 i suppose), we all r sure that mumbai will decrease its cutoff but why r we increasing it for bangalore and hyderabad???
NMIMS bangalore and hyderabad campuses are not having UGC and AICTE recognitions. The college name is not listed in the ugc or aicte website. Only Mumbai campus is having UGC. So is it advisable to join in NMIMS Bangalore or Hyderabad.?? Please reply me .. :shock::)

this kinda question is answered many tyms...I wud once again like to answer u dat if u r 100% sure 2 do mba dis year n den if u r able 2 convert ur call...then only go for nm-b and nm-h....else prepare dis year and go for cat,xat and nmat nxt year....as 2 years for mba worth alot....fees as well as gud quality mba education is a matter of concern...so think den act......

i thnk for nm-b & nm-h this yr the registration has incsd which vil surely inc d cut off level...bt nm-m wil remain stgnant ...

PLease refer to this...on page 6 it gives the details about the recognition and all...Bangi will also come under Mumbai's umbrella...wont it?..Its just the same institute being opened at another location.....
So the recognitions shud not be a hurdle..especially at the time of placements

nmims bangalore is UGC recognized like its parent body nmims mumbai,it is a deemed-to-be University under section 3 of the UGC act 1956.But it is not AICTE approved which dosen't matter if it is ugc recognized.
P.S-even the iims are not AICTE approved..

The University Grants Commission team has already visited our Bangalore campus and approved it; we are waiting for clearence from the Ministry of the Human Resource Development to convert the PGDM into an MBA.

dude ,first if any post graduate institute is deemed to be university, then they will not give PGDC/PGDM/PGPM, as they will directly give MBA.
so both NMIMS hyderabad and bangalore are not deemed to be university.
but i think that both hyderabad and bangalore are AICTE approved.

The main campus building of NMIMS-B will come up at banargetta near IIM-B.....currently NMIMS-B is operating from karmangala....

@ old wise guy, u r an ex epgdm guy right? could you please tell me the year you passed out? I have a cousin who did epgdm from there and he is placed pretty fine. the package and all are also awesome if I have to believe the site. (If the site misquotes figures then I am afraid I have nothing to say...)...
@ yes yamaha, Sir I am sure we are all aware of the fact that it is fresh and young in the market and that it'll take time to establish itself. even the new IIM'S are new and they too need tym to build themselves up. so based on that no one will make unreasonable expectations. I called up NMIMS B today to finf out if people who missed out on the applications can apply again or not. A lady picked up the phone. the figures that she gave me were surprising. beyond expectation actually. I don't want to quote the figure in public respecting the privacy policy you'll are following. It's amazing actually!! You too are saying that nothing out of the blue is gonna happen, at least not in the coming year... so just a lil confused. Even If I reap the benefits in the coming year, it's a graet thing for me coz that is when it'll matter the most.. :).. one important query- will we get to chose our slots for gd pi or will we be given a date n tym? coz we have other important calls also which we can't really miss..
