N a lil mess, i registered for xat on 25th, but was able to sent the hard copy today. So i think it mite reach dem on 5th , but i noticed that i had to sent it to dem within 7 days of payment....now is that an issue, pls le me know..
I don't want to apply to xlri and ximb, pls suggest me colleges where i can apply if things go rite with my form.
N dire needs of a reply that too a positive one
cheers, dips
Don't think that's an issue. I sent my application 10 days after payment, and my XAT application status page says 'approved'.
I had sent my XAT and XLRI form via speed post on 24 -nov . Still , my XAT application status shows - Application Form processing.
Worse is , when I tracked my Speed Post on web , it hasn't updated the speed post status after 25 -nov , no delivery status has been put up.
Can any one let me know , how and where to confirm whether my application has reached XLRI or not ? If no , given a strong possibility that Postal dept has messed up with my speed post , how can I resend the application form ?
That is a positive sign, I'd say. Processing means it has reached XLRI. My status only shows:"Form successfully submitted!" 😛 You need not worry. Prepare for Joka!

Thanks mate .But , I have an another XAT ID ( which I had to leave as I had made some mistakes in registration) , there also , I hadnt sent any document against that XAT ID , still , it displays the same message . :(
Whats ur current sts of ur application ? What was ur payment mode ?
Paid thru cc. And my status is "Form successfull submitted!" Same was the case with FMS. It showed the same status, but after some days it changed to "Your form is under processing!"

i registered for xlri online on 26th nov and made the payment via axis bank the same day. but i could post the xlri application form today only (speed post). its mentioned that the xlri's copy of pay in slip alongwith the form and other documents should reach xlri within 7 days of making the payment to axis bank. i dont think my form would reach within the time limit. will it be an issue if it reaches late???
I have sent a courier today to XLRI jamshedpur from hyderabad , the courier people are telling that the application form will reach there by 6th Dec, which is crosses the deadline for sending the application form by one day, will it be any problem or do they accept my application form if the application form reaches by 6th Dec
Hey, I had received a message from XLRI some days back that my form has not been received. I had checked the speed post tracking, which showed it had bn delivered on 6th Nov. Is there any way to confirm from XLRI? Is there anyone else, who's in the same boat?

Same thing happened with me but upon contacting XLRI through email, I was assured that I can safely ignore the message. If your documents are alright and they reached on time then there does not seem to be any serious cause for worry.

I have written it earlier also, clear the cut-offs. Prepare seriously for the interview. If u are able to clear cut-offs you have potential. I too have average acads and I am in XLRI.
hey himanshu,i hav been reading ur replies n suggestions..thank u...
actually am a bit disaapointed with my past acads....how worse it can b?
hi... i m also appearing for xat for the first time.. would like to know the cutt off for xime, ximr
Buddy cutoffs are a subjective matter and your performance in the paper relative to others. What you can do is maximize ur score in every section and leave the rest to your harwork/luck etc. Generally you need upwards of 98.5 percentile overall and a good performance in every section if u r targeting XLRI. Don't worry about the cutoffs w/o seeing the paper. Stay calm and practice as much as you can. Hope this helps:thumbsup:
