Hi I have applied for XAT and other exams (including CAT) and few colleges.
In all the application form I have mentioned my Degree score as 67.4%. But yesterday, I noticed that my actual percentage is 67.3%. (My calculation while applying for CAT might have went wrong and from then on I have mentioned my score as 67.4% in all forms.) Is this a matter of concern? Is there now any options to edit my degree score in the application forms? Seniors please help me

hey...are there any good mba colleges in ncr which admit students on the basis of xat score.... besides is it really necessary to apply for xlri seperately while giving xat....i mean what if i don't want admission in xlri...
Hey i have filled XAT and XLRI forms using draft. now i have downloaded both PA and PP forms. I have a doubt. On XAT PP form we are provided a box to attach photo, but on XLRI PA form, are we not supposed to attach photo???? Please reply soon.

I have written it earlier also, clear the cut-offs. Prepare seriously for the interview. If u are able to clear cut-offs you have potential. I too have average acads and I am in XLRI.

Hi Himanshu, Just to put things in perspective is my profile good enough for converting xlri just in case I manage to clear the cutoff's. My interest is more in the HRM course.
10-87.67% 12-70.45% Btech-68.9% 35 months of IT exp as on today.
Hope the average acads what you mentioned is not well above my numbers

i feel there is nthng called a profile in PMIR (whatever it is called now)...you have to display that you are a team man, you understand situation and people well.
My interview last year was behavioural and they were checking people and communication skill.
I don;t think you should not worry about profile at this stage.
so unlike the iim's which view cat as an elimination round xlri do take xat scores into consideration during the interview round rite??
scores definitely matter but are not end of the world in themselves. I had 99.28 (pretty less as compared to other call getters) but I converted both programs. So prepare hard for your interviews, XL lays a lot of stress on interviews.

Now, xlri's registration process says that i have to enclose all the docs mentioned on the site inside the SPECIAL ENVELOPE. i mean i haven't got the xat prospectus yet . what do i do? also i will send both the applications today itself. plz help with the proper procedure

it is not necessary to apply for XL ....u can simply write XAT check out for the colleges in the associated collegs list and do some research

those who have bought the prospectus from the axis bank,they have to send their document in a special envelope that is there in the prospectus... i think you have read the wrong instruction..those who are registering using demand draft they can send it in any envelope... this is written in the xat instruction--- Send the DD and PP Form: The candidate has to paste securely his/her recent passport size colour photograph and put his/her signature in the designated space provided on the XAT PP Form. Mention your XAT ID and your name on the reverse of the DD. The candidate has to enclose the demand draft along with the XAT PP Form and send it by courier/ registered post/speed post so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days of DD issue date.
