I think they are sending these messages at random as reminders
Very confused about filling the 1st option of select courses field of XLRI.
In NITIE, you generally get the call from only the 1st preference which you have filled in the form (as been told in the NITIE thread). Is it the same in XL too? Or I can get calls from both the courses given that I clear the cutoff of both the courses irrespective of the order of preference?? If I fill HRM as option 1 and BM as option 2 and if I clear the cutoff of both the courses then will I get calls from both or only HRM? >
Also,if I wish to go into consulting field then HRM would be suitable??

You can go to some other AXIS bank branch and deposit the XAT fee and get the XAT brochure. It won't be a problem. Last year I registered for AXIS Bank Noida branch but due to some reasons couldn't pay at Noida branch. Paid the fee at Varanasi center of Axis bank. They agreed to that as its just the transfer of money in the XAT ACC No. and getting the brochure.

If you clear both the cut-offs, you'll get both the calls (provided you have applied to both). Preference is irrelevant.
how can I confirm whether my application has been received by XLRI or not? I posted it over a month ago immediately after registration so that it reaches before the 1 week limit and when I had tried after a week to call XLRI to confirm they said it must have reached. Now today I get this sms that "we have not recd your application if already sent pls ignore" from XLRI. Although it may be a big administrative task but it would have been great had XLRI sent a "recd. application form" sms to all those whose application they have recd. So that later when this bulk sms is sent, people like me dont get a shock and can ignore it!

no its not the case with XLRi..u get calls frm both the courses if u clear the cutoff
Can any one help me out plz......i still dint receive any acknowledgement from the management.....how long will it take for them 2 send ....when i check my status its showing as under process....do i have any other way to find out the status....thnx in adv....

Hi today i got a message saying that my application is received..i had posted some 2 weeks back may be..in the application status its not showing the photo and signature though..jus check wats your status in the application status..if the status opens wen u login than that means your application has surely reached..!!
Received two messages from XLRI today:
1) Mentions that they have "reconciled" my application - whatever that means
2) Just informs that the special envelop is not necessary (and that the message should be ignored if the application has already been sent).
I suppose this means that my application is complete and has reached on time.
I got a text msg from XLRI saying they haven't received my application yet.. I sent it by post over a week ago..Can anyone give me their number so I can call up and find out wats the problem. Their helpline numbers given on the website never ever get through 😞
