For XAT: you have to send them the transaction detail page which is the online receipt payment page only. Along with the PP form.

and for XLRI: again send the transaction detail page with the PA form.

That's what. I have only PP and PA form with me. No Online receipt payment page. When logging again into the website, i am not getting that page.

The candidate has to enclose the duly completed XLRI PA Form and photo copies of 10th, 12th and graduation certificates (or latest mark sheet of papers/years completed till date) and SC/ST certificate (for SC/ST candidates only) through courier/registered post/speed post in the special envelope given inside the prospectus. XLRI PA Form along with transaction receipt and photo copies of the educational certificate should reach the Admissions Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days from date of online payment made. Candidates are advised to keep a photo copy of all the forms that they send to XLRI for future reference.



Moreover, they will send the prospectus once i will send them the form , then how come i will send the form in the envelope.

I have made online payment for both XAT and XLRI 2011 yesterday
itself. Now , how do i send the enclosure for XLRI ( which will
include XLRI pa form , transaction details and the certificate copies)
?? In any ordinary envelope or any particular envelope ( like the one
inside the bulletin ).

Please note that I haven't send the XAT pp form yet ( as I have filled
both the forms yesterday only) and hence , haven't received any
bulletin till yet . Moreover , my communication address is that of
Delhi . So , when i send the XAT PP form , the bulletin will be sent
to the Delhi address .So, once it is received there, do I have to tell
someone to send the envelope to Hyderabad so that I can put those
enclosures and send it again to Jamshedpur . Do I really need to go
through this hassle . Please help.

Dear sud123,

There are two ways to apply
1. Online (using Demand Draft)
2. Purchase Prospectus from Axis Bank

In second case, you get the envelope with Prospectus. You have to use this envelope for sending all the docs i.e. Pay-in-slip, appl. form, certificates etc.

For first case, get a DD preapared, then fill in the form with details of DD, print the appl. form, attach docs and send it.

After this procedure, check appl. status online and confirm your photo & sig.

Then print admit card after 19th December

Thats it, ur in for Exam
Thats the whole procedure, i hope this clears all doubts

You have to affix a photo on the XAT pay in slip, not XLRI's.

Check for the signature again. Usually, its alongside the brochure no. and you may have difficulty spotting it. If there is any trouble, just go to the cashier again and ask him to sign it for you - I'm sure he won't mind.

the banker dint mention any bank transaction id,
he jst put a bank seal and prospectus no on the print put.

shud i go again and slap him ??

yup... i have cheked it just now and they did mention abt transaction no

but the bank folks did not give any such no and it is not required any where while filling up the form....

so u need not worry abt it

if u want to get confirmation ,u can call help line no(but i don't think that is required)

don't worry... they say this evry year and i sent it two weeks later last year.... but everything went fine...

I have an issue with the XLRI application - I have completed the online process and made the payment online.
However, they say that I have to submit the PA form "in the special envelope given inside the prospectus."

I will get the prospectus only after the PA form reaches them. So how can I put it inside that special envelope?

if u have made the online payment,then u can send it in another envelope(no need for special one)....but take care to send the required form,transaction recpt. with it and send it as quickly as u can.
