This is for those whose Signature and Pic hasn't been uploaded yet ....
I just called XAT admin office and the guy advised not to panic. One should check his/her admit card. If the Pic and Signature is not there on the card, then we should call them. It is likely to happen that at the time of admit card generation, the Pic and Signature would remain there (not sure tough 😞 )
A quick question: can we take a print out of the online admit card and use that instead of the paper version they'll send to the mailing address (like FMS)?
Trouble is, I gave my home address in Jaipur as my mailing address, whereas I'll be taking the test in Delhi. I'm not sure if there will be enough time to courier the admit card from Jaipur to Delhi before the 2nd of Jan.

In my application to XLRI, I wrongly chose my first pref as General Mgmt instead of Business Mgmt!
i mailed xlri admissions team to consider a correction. No response for many days. So i resent the mail with xat team in cc. xat team replied that once updated in the system, the preferences cannot be changed under any circumstances!
I'm a bit disheartened coz my prep has been serious this time..
I'm under the impression that wrong preferences can seriously affect one's chances of selection, owing to so much competition.
Has anyone faced such problem and got it corrected? Please let me know.

Saurav Goswami SaysAs long as you have mentioned business management under any preference number, its fine....if you haven't named it in any of your preferences, then it is an issue. on a positive note, you still have pmri....

How are you planning to gear up fpr Essay writing for XAT.......
Any pointers to some specific reading material or a site which one could pick up (say for 10-15 mins) daily ....This will help us keeping in touch with knowledge needed to write a good essay... :)...........
P.S. This is true that a wide knowledge base cannot be developed in a period of 10-15 days.This query refers to a quick review of topics from where we can expect the essay to come..........:cheerio:...........

In any case, I guess we need to focus on good content, without spending too much time on presentation etc. Essay shouldn be a problem ( i hope:oops: )I guess googling about WTO, gender equality etc etc should be enough. All the best!

The update button probably only works if there is a mismatch in the photo and sign, else we neednt do anything :)

when i am logging in to check my application status its saying
APPLICATION STILL UNDER PROCESSING
Puys do it is a problem considering that after 18th the admit card will
be available online and 2nd is the exam(so late and they have still not uploaded anything remotely related to admit card ) do anybody stuck with same problem ....
