Puys;it might sound as an idiotic question but what are the chances for WL/2 to convert? This is my first experience so anybody who was waitlisted for some other IIM please share your experiences.

**Kashipur and Udaipur**
The above is a dilemma for some. Which to chose as both are new?
Well ...I have many a converts (good converts) and also Kashipur. K being mentored by L is gud, but we need to see where they were helping. As far as I know L only helps in faculty and infra, not in placement and other activities. I am choosin U mainly becoz of location. I understand that location is directly related to many a parameter like new faculties,industry interaction,placements and student life. So taking these into account, I am inclined towards U. Nevertheless, it's the student who have to make the difference,who have to count every advantages and counter the disadvantages. Choice is yours. Set your priorities and achieve your dream. Sky is the limit 😃

98.7 percentile this time.. and IIM U was the only call and covert!! 
But I am really confused whether to join or not since this is a very new IIM??

Well to take it or not depends on the profile that you have. If you're into a very specific field which a General MBA wouldn't serve you can give it a skip. And if you're prepared to wait another year and give it another shot you can very well do that. If you have concerns about IIM U being a new setup, and if you don't wanna give it a shot next year you can pretty much apply to SP Jain's Global MBA program for the November intake. I'm pretty sure that you'd get thru it seeing your percentile.
If you are sure of getting a similar or better score in the next few years you might give it a skip this year. But it is a very dicey call my friend.

Take ur decision based on 6-7 factors:
1) Company u r working
2) Salary u are getting now
3) Kind of job profile u have and ur goal in life.
4) How confident u r to get a good percentile next year in CAT or other exams.
5) Ur probability of cracking GD/PI next year.
6) Ur expectations from MBA.
7) ur expectation of ROI(consider opportunity cost too).
Risk factor involved in new IIM sIn general it is not a bad option for people having less than 2 years of work ex in a decent job. I am telling this as this is a good time to take risk in life and u may end up as a gainer.

Is it like -50000 Rs- seat confirmation
100000 Rs- admission fees
25000 Rs- caution deposit
so we have to pay Rs 175000 before we can avail loan???
i have 3 wait list in pwd ...what are the chances of conversion
