no. of panels: 6
no. of applicants under each panel : 10-11
no. of applicants absent : around 20

PROCESS:
1) case study: 5 mins for reading and 10 minutes for writing your answer

2) interview: 2 members in the panel
a)extempore round one topic randomly chosen i got : good name is better than a good face (thinking time 1 min and u have to speak for 2 mins)

b) interview: not a stress interview at all. some of the questions asked:

i) why mba
ii) why tapmi
iii) introduce yourself
iv) some questions on accounting (depreciation)
v) a few general awareness questions (finance minister of india and satyam scandal)
vi) explain a few principles of management
vii) will u be interested in other courses like health care and IB

can't recall other qns

3) interview with the director:
hardly took 3-4 mins no cross questioning here too

a) why tapmi when u have calls from so many colleges
b) draw demand curve
c) interested in the other courses

they give u a cd on tapmi when you are finished with the process.

what is depreciation, types of depreciation, what is Cost Of Goods Sold, what gains do companies get by charging depreciation, depreciation frauds in the recent news if any.

EDIT: no gd, no discussion on the case study

Interesting, so there was no essay. Was it always supposed to be a written case study? Cos i hvnt been following the TAPMI threads I never knew and am now really glad I wasnt first in.
So there were no group interaction sessions at all, extempore seems direct enuf, writing part is easier now, n the interview is double staged but without stress.. Its going to be really tuf to know how we performed by their scales.. :-(
When do the results get publishd??

Hi friend , so it went cool...

You said that the time given or reading the case study was 5 min and writing the analysis was 10 min..is that strictly followed ..I am sure we shall have the luxury to go through the case for all the 15 minutes..correct me if I am wrong..and was there no discussion at all on the case

How long did the whole process take and when are the results expected??

i mean what was the total time taken for all this process?
i have my pi at the same time and i want to come back to chandigarh! so just needed to know the timing for the process!
