Congrats to everyone who has made it to the Batch of 2009 -11 in the B-school of their choice 😃 Your hard-work, dedication, sincerity, blah blah blah has made it possible Now its time to show-off the name of your B-School against your user name. If you want to display the tag of your B-School against your user name here is how you do it:

1. JOIN a B-School! Yes This is very important. Every year we keep getting requests from people as soon as they start converting their calls asking us to accept their request to join the particular B-School group. Please hold on till you actually become a part of a particular school. Requests sent to join a B-School group before the official start date of the college will straightaway be rejected.

2. Navigate to the page: My Account -> Group Memberships
Link: PaGaLGuY.com - The Everything of MBA, CAT 2008, GMAT, XAT, IIM
and send a request to join the particular group of your college. The group leader of that college or any other moderator who is authorized will validate the request. You need to mention your official email id for verification purposes while sending a request. All requests which do not mention official email ids stand a risk of being rejected without any explanation. For institutes that do not provide official email id to students, the request to join the group will be accepted/rejected only by the group leader.

3. Give us some time 😁 Requests may take anything from a day to a week to be validated.

Note 1: If your college is not listed or you need a change in the name of your B-School please mention it in this thread.

Note 2: The nominations for group leaders are also open. We need people who would be active at least for a year if not more on the forum to act as leaders for their respective colleges. So if you think you fit the bill do post in your nominations here.

Note 3: The group leaders are especially important for colleges which do not provide official email ids. So nominations invited especially from these colleges. We will verify such request thoroughly and only then appoint a group leader. For such B-Schools the ranks will not be allocated unless a group leader has been apointed.

I would like to nominate myself for the Group Leader Responsibility for the IMT Ghaziabad Batch of 2009-2011. Been active on PG for quite some time now, and I'm also a moderator on other CAT related forums. I'll surely be active in the coming 2 years of my MBA and even after that to help people out as much as possible!

i seriously request the concerned moderators and the group leaders to look into the fact that icfai business school has one common group as icfai whereas the mumbai campus has been assigned a different group so on behalf of all the students of icfai hyderabad i propose and request for a creation of seperate group for ICFAI HYDERABAD students so that we can be distincted frm other campus students. i also give my name fr the post of group leader of ICFAI hyderabad(if created) for the batch of 2009 to 2011

i knw this mite be considered as spamming but i seriously want a group of ICFAI HYDERABAD to be created and i would love to be a group leader and of sum help to pg as well as the future aspirants coz this place has been of great help fr me thruout my preparations......

not to wry mate. as far as i think it will surely have more than 100 members and if thats nt the case then ur treat wont be a problem. anytime mate. and even a treat wld be due in case i am made to be the group leader........... and ya thanx fr the assurance of creating the group i requested fr. just hope that the assurance precedes a definitive action.

Ok..from this year, we will have a seperate group for ICFAI Hyderabd...but if there are less than 100 members in it, you will have to treat me bigtime when I come to hyderabad!

Hi,

I want to present my candidature for being selected as Group Leader for BIM Trichy Group. I have got final selection in BIM this year and I'm going to join it for sure. I also assure you about my availability for moderating group for atleast next 2 years and even more if required.

Would the group leader status be provided on first come first served basis or there is any other criteria? Please inform me about any basis on which you would select the GL. I would like to know if I can fulfill that.
