even i am waiting 4 the replies...i guess today is the first scheduled day 4 the process to start...i have mine scheduled tmrw i.e 27 th in the afternoon slot...i hope the puys initiate asap by posting there xperiences...
i guess it is required 2 carry ur call letter........but still i will request the seniors to step in nd help.......

I think you should call the admissions people at Fore asap as there cud be some discrepancy in the postal dept. or something coz we have received the letters.

yeah we are receiving call letters ..there is no email notification as such or there is nothing on website also ..so better contact fore ppl asap..

See, they are not eating the seats anyway only coz they are coming there. Even if they make it over you and later on decide to back out, you wud eventually be getting those seats. That's why the waitlist thing...

pls dont indulge in one-liners like thanks, awesome man, you'll get through man.

if anyone has any query to ask, you can PM the concerned person regarding the same.

this can be done by

indulging in one-liners wont help anyone's cause.

as a result of the one-liners (which are not one bit suggestive), people who are genuinely interested in going through the experiences have to scan a lot of pages to find the same.

abt d exp at fore...gd was good...there were 3 groups each having around 10-12 members..the topic was on IPL...all the groups were given the same topic in the gd...as far as interview is concerned it was chilled out....all the best for ur gd/pi....

the only thing i cant resist is TEMPTATION

While all the things would remain the same as has been posted in the earlier experience, My topic was: IPL.

NOTE:THIS IS THE HOTTEST BURNING TOPIC. Two of my friends got the same topic in seperate sessions.

Then there were three male panelists, two from FORE and one was from industry.
now the questions might not be in order...

q1: Do you like sports?
q2: I am not very well versed in accounts. What is the difference between Financial Accounts and Financial Management.
q3: What are the statements to be prepared before a Balance Sheet.
q4: You missed out on the Trial Balance (Oops!!)
q5: Ok, when did you graduate. (I said: Sir I am in the final year. Final xams have to be conducted).
q6: You have written you like English Premier League. What is the abbreviation given to Manchester United.
q7: What are the rival European football leagues.
q8: Ok, Rajat what is the highest tax slab. (I answered 30%)
q9: Only thirty percent? (I said+ Surcharge of 1%) (oops!!)
q10: How would you calculate HRA?
q11: Have you studied Auditing? (No sir: Its a third year subject. I have to still study it)
q12: Ok, what are you interested in? (I answered Computers)
q13: Tell me what is the graphic package that is mostly used. (Answered: Maya 5.1)
q14: Tell us any subject you like. We will ask you on it. (Eco)
q15: What are the components of demand? (Misunderstood the question)
q16: No..No..What factors determine demand. Tell us 4 of them.
q17: Can you draw us a demand curve.
q18: How would you show an inelastic demand.
q19: Ok, explain to us The Marginal Propensity to consume as if we were laymen.
q20: Can it be more than 1?
q21: Ok that is what the theory says. In real life can it be more than1?
q22: What is the difference between Monetary and The fiscal Policy.
q23: What is the chief instrument of the fiscal policy.
q24: How many times is the monetary policy declared. (Oops!!)
Ok..thats it.

It went really cool. They didnt pressurise me or anything.
I would suggest. Pick up a subject and know learn everything about it and one hobby.
Although others werent asked many technical things...i guess because I am 20 and still studying they asked me so much.
