Given the fact that most pursuers of the 2 yr PGP at IIMs are either freshers or have at max 2-3 yrs experience, do you feel it would be worth doing the flagship 2 year course from say A,B or C after you've got around 6 to 7yrs of work ex?

1 yr or the exec MBA is what people immediately suggest but most of the articles that I've read ,rate the 2 yr full time course higher than any type(also 2yr is the most recommended for someone seeking a career change). Please can you let me know if this option is still advisable to anyone even after 6 or 7 yrs(especially here in India where the the US B-School trend is yet to pick up) and whether he/she feels out of place by being odd in a class of freshers/youngsters?

I would like to know if IIMs even consider such aspirants in the first place and if there are(were) already such people in the current(previous) batches.

1 Year program helps the people who want to continue in the same profile/industry and 2 year will give better opportunities for people who want a profile change.
