The candidates who have done Engineering as their Graduation continue to top in CAT (Common Admission Test) which will be conducted to get admissions to the top management colleges. From the recent stats, it is said that 55 percent of the candidates who applied for CAT 2018 were Engineering candidates and out of which 82 percent scored 90 and above percentile in the CAT exam. The result for 2018 CAT exam was released and even in this engineering candidates clinched top position. Keeping in mind the past year records, the result for this year too was not a big surprise. - CAT exam contains questions that are mostly to test the fundamental or basic knowledge of the candidates and so it becomes difficult for the candidates to clear the CAT exam without technical knowledge.
- Mathematics which is the main factor in CAT becomes the biggest advantage for the Engineering students. Engineering candidates will be a quiet expert in solving mathematical problems and also in handling the competitive exams. Many of the non-engineering candidates feel quant section to be the toughest ones.
- It is also said that engineering students would have faced many national level exams and other entrance exams which will make them competent. In research projects, the engineering candidates would do self-preparation and complete their projects with their own which will make them exposed to many studies.
