Good news for all the central government job aspirants. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for its latest job notification to fill a total of 88 vacancies to the posts of Botanist, Legal Officer, and others. The application process for recruitment is online.

The online registrations for the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) have begun Friday, i.e., October 11, 2019. Interested and aspiring candidates can visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to apply online for recruitment. The last date for the online registration process is on October 31, 2019.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) expects to fill a total of 88 vacancies for the posts of Botanist, Legal Officer, Joint Assistant Director, and Specialist Grade III for several departments through this recruitment. Aspiring candidates should submit their online applications before October 31, 2019, as the link for online registrations will be deactivated post-October 31, 2019.

UPSC Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to be considered eligible for the recruitment. The eligibility criteria for the various posts under the recruitment is mentioned below.

Candidate applying for the Botanist post should have completed postgraduation in Horticulture/ Life Sciences/ Botany from a recognized University.

Candidate applying for the Legal Officer post should have completed postgraduation in Law from a recognized university with specialization in International Law or International Relations.

Candidate applying for Joint Assistant Director should have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications/ Electronics and Communications/ Computer Science/ Information and Communication Technology.

Candidate applying for Specialist Grade III posts should have completed MBBS and have a post-graduate degree/ diploma in the related subject.

UPSC Recruitment 2019: How to apply

Candidates interested in the recruitment can apply online by visiting the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The stepwise instructions for the same are mentioned below to help candidates submit their applications without any errors.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC): upsc.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab to proceed further

Step 3: From the dropdown menu, click on ‘Online Recruitment Application.’

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new UPSC online webpage with a list of registration links for several recruitments

Step 5: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ link

Step 6: An information bulletin will be displayed on the screen, read carefully and click on ‘next.’

Step 7: Check the dialogue box and click on ‘proceed’

Step 8: Click on ‘New Registration’ and register on the website with required details

Step 9: Once registered, log in using the registration ID and password

Step 10: Once logged in, fill the online application form accurately with the required information and click ‘save.’

Step 11: Upload the scanned copies of the signature, passport size photograph, and the required documents and ‘submit.’

Step 12: Pay the application fee and take a printout of the completed application form for future use
