RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Result 2019 to be Announced soon

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is about to release the Junior Engineer CBT 1 exam 2019 result on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results once they are announced and the latest updates regarding the matter on the official website of RRB at http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/.

The JE Prelim examinations conducted by the RRB were held from May 22nd, 2019 till June 2nd, 2019. These exams were held in various different exam-centres to occupy and recruit over 13000 vacancies across all the various railway recruitment boards.

RRB expected Cut-off for the stage 1 CBT exam 2019:

The exam marking scheme suggested that there will be negative marking of one-third marks for each wrong answer. The questions asked in the exam were of easy to moderate level. We can assume the expected cut-off marks based on the previous cut-off marks of the RRB JE CBT 1 exams.

RRB released the Final Answer key for the RRB JE on July 25th, 2019 and the link to check the Modified answer key for the RRB JE was available till July 27th, 2019. The answer keys help the candidates to estimate their marks attained in the exam.

Revision in the number of vacancies for JE posts 2019

Recently, not so long ago, the RRB added 74 vacancies in the Kolkata division of the RRB and cancelled a total of 23 vacancies of Junior Engineer posts under Printing Press Department of Chennai (SR), Mumbai (CR) and Secunderabad (SCR) Zones.

After due calculation of the revised RRB vacancy for JE posts, the total number of vacancy has now been extended to 13,538. Earlier it was 13,487. These vacancies are for posts like Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

Final selection and recruitment of the candidates will only be done on the basis of Phase 2 and phase 3. The candidates who successfully qualify the first stage CBT will be shortlisted to appear for further stages. The filtered candidates will also need to pass a standard medical fitness test which will be conducted by the Railway Administration to ascertain that the candidates are medically fit to carry out their assigned duties.
