NMIMS releases list of centers for NMAT 2010 along with demo and tutorial videos

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai announced its decision to use computer-based testing for the Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test (NMAT) back in October 2009. The institute has let the press in on a few more details about the entrance exam. The examination will take place over a ten-day window from January 30, 2010 to February 8, 2010. Pearson Vue, which is conducting the exam has released an orientation video, a tutorial and a demo video to familiarize NMAT candidates with computer based testing procedures. According to a press note issued by the institute today, the Computer Based Testing or the CBT mode will provide flexibility in rescheduling the test appointments and it also has enough buffer capacity during the testing period for any emergency situation.

Dr. Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies said in the press release, “There is no advantage to candidates who may be appearing for the NMAT at a later date. This is because each session has its own question paper and it should not make any difference whether a candidate tests earlier or later.”

The press note also listed the centers where the NMAT will be conducted in India and abroad.

The following are the centers in India:

North: Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow

West: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur

South: Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad
