JEE Main 2019 Admit Card

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main will be now onwards conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), which was previously conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). JEE Mains is generally conducted as an entrance exam for addition into various CFTIs, NITs, and IITs for various engineering courses.

General information about JEE Main Exam

 There are two parts to this exam, namely JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Only those who have cleared JEE Main are eligible for JEE Advanced.  JEE Main has two papers and it contains a series of multiple choice questions (MCQs) which aims to test the basic physics, chemistry and mathematical knowledge of the candidate. Those students who wish to get admission in B.E or B.Tech courses appear for Paper 1. While those who wish to get admission in B.Arch or B.Planning courses give paper 2. Paper 1 can be given both online and offline; however, paper 2 can be given only offline.

Details of the JEE Main admit card 2019

The JEE Main admit card 2019 contains all the details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, father’s name, course name, date of birth, gender, category, state of eligibility, candidate’s photo. It also contains the name of the test center, date, shift and time of the examination along with information such as reporting time and closing time of the gates at the center, choice of paper (paper 1 or paper 2) and the signature of the candidate and the parents. Immediate changes should be done if any of the mentioned information is wrong on the admit card.

The candidate is allowed to carry only the required stationary. No electronic devices or calculators will be allowed inside the examination hall, thus refrain from carrying any.

Counseling details

The counseling session begins from the second week of June, tentatively. The process of seat allotment and counseling is purely based on the merit of the candidate and availability of seats. There are approximately 4023 IITs, 17967 NITs and 4683 CTIs enrolling students for engineering on the basis of JEE scores!
