JEE 2017 Special Round: Candidates to report to allotted institute before August 2

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2017 Main candidates allocated a seat in the special round of the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) must physically report at the allotted institute before August 2. Candidates must visit the official portal of CSAB 2017 to check the seat allotment results for special round.

Candidates will need the JEE Main 2017 roll number and password to check CSAB 2017 special round seat allotment results. All successful allottees under CSAB 2017 special round are required to physically report at the allotted institute directly and complete the admission formalities.

If an allottee who has reported to the allotted institute after the seventh round of JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) 2017 is unable to get his/her original documents from the earlier reported Institute in time, he/she may show the reporting document in the newly allotted Institute and should submit an affidavit on plain paper that his/her original documents are submitted in another institute. The candidate will then have to collect and deposit the same by September 30, 2017.

Candidates can report to the allotted institute between Monday, July 31 to Wednesday, August 2, 2017 between 9AM to 5PM (during office hours only).

If a candidate fails to join the allotted institute, then CSAB 2017 will not refund the participation fee. However, if no seat is allotted in the special round, the participation fee will be refunded back after deducting a processing fee of Rs 1,000.
