FCI Recruitment 2019-20: Application Process begins for MT Posts at fci.gov.in, Steps How to Apply

The Food Corporation of India (FCI) had recently announced through notification about several vacancies for which it will be carrying out recruitment. According to the latest notification, the application process has now begun for the category two posts. Interested candidates can start applying for the posts online.

The posts that are included in the category are for the Management trainee for the following categories –

  1. General
  2. Depot
  3. Technical Accounts
  4. Movement
  5. Civil Engineering
  6. Mechanical Engineering
  7. Electrical Engineering

FCI Recruitment 2019

The application process will be held between 28th September (10:00 am) to 27th October (4:00 pm), 2019. The exam for the same will tentatively take place in November or December, although no official notification has been released with this regard.

The recruitment process will involve several stages that the candidates will have to go through. This will include two examinations – Phase 1 and Phase 2. This will be followed by an interview for those who qualify the two phases. Selected candidates will then have to go through a training process.

Candidates interested and eligible for the FCI Management Trainee exam can apply for it using the following steps –

  1. Visit the official website

The official website of Food Corporation of India is www.fci.gov.in This direct link will take you to the homepage of the official website of FCI. Candidates should make sure that the official website is the only source for making applications.

  1. Register on the website

Candidates need to click on ‘Click here for New Registration’. This step enables you to register on the website, which helps maintain security if details and can be used for future purposes.

  1. Fill in the details

Once you register yourself, you will be given a new registration number and password which must be kept securely. Use them to open the application form. Fill in all the details slowly and meticulously to avoid any mistakes in the process of application.

  1. Other details

Some other details that a candidate will have to upload are their photograph and signature. These two documents should be scanned and edited to the appropriate size before being uploaded on the application form.

  1. Submit the form

Once the process is complete, make sure to press submit and finish up your application process.

  1. Printout

Don’t forget to take out a printout of your application form which can be persevered for future purposes and can be referred to in case of confusions.

The 300 vacancies will be filled by zone-wise method of recruitment. Following are the approximate number of vacancies in each zone –

During the training process, trainees will receive a stipend of Rs 40,000/- per month which will turn into a decent salary of Rs 40,000 – Rs 1,40,000/- once the trainees become managers. More information is expected to be released soon regarding the date of admit card release and exam details.
