The Government of Assam’s Secondary Education Department has now confirmed the date of Assam High School TET 2019. The examination is open for all the permanent residents of Assam and will be conducted on 22nd December 2019. The exam is conducted by the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and the medium for Assam high School TET will be Assamese, Bengali, Bodo and Manipuri.

The RMSA has published the separate advertisement for each medium but one notification for all the medium of Assam High School TET examination. It has been observed earlier that when the candidates get selected as teachers, they ask for transfer to the location of their choice. This effects the staff and relationship with the students of the school. Therefore, the authorities of RMSA have now included the column for the preferred location option in the application form. Candidates who will be selected as per the qualification of TET exam will be posted in the selected location only.

The online application form has been released by RMSA today that is 15th November 2019 with the option of preferred location. Therefore, the candidates who have filled the application form as per the previous notification would need to visit the official website to fill the preferred location of work. Candidates would need to submit the passing certificate and critical information of the B.ed and choose the zones of their choices on the online portal.

Interested candidates can fill the application form on the official website from 15th November 2019 onward and the last date to submit the application form is 25th November 2019. The application fee is INR 400 which needs to be paid before 28th December 2019.

Candidates would need to score minimum 60% marks to qualify the examination and there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. Candidates should be aware of the examination pattern of the Assam TET examination and would need the regular practice of the content of syllabus. The examination will have three sections and total marks will be 200. The sections General Studies and Current affairs, pedagogy and general English will be common for every medium.
