Approximately 15 lakh students took the offline mode of JEE
Mains 2016 on April 3, 2016. This qualifying examination for engineering
colleges has four different sets of questions papers. As aspirants were waiting
for the clock to struck 9:30 a.m with a hope to get easiest of the Sets (A, B,
C or D) but they were given Sets E, F, G and H.

Coaching institutes who were waiting to solve the question
papers had a similar epiphany. Where is Set A. A JEE faculty from Allen, Kota,  said, “I was waiting to solve the Set C, but
instead got set G.”

JEE Mains is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary
Education. JK Yadav, Deputy Secretary, JEE office, said, “We change the
alphabets every year to avoid a set pattern. We choose random alphabets, like L,M,N,O
or W, X, Y, Z.”

Whatever the Sets pattern was, JEE Mains was
conducted successfully on April 3, 2016. Now, aspirants are waiting for the
online JEE Mains which will be conducted on April 9 and 10, 2016.
