Calling all puys who are now graduates from various B schools to post the following details about their job profile! Profile Name: Profile Description: B school Name: Batch: Specialization [Major/Minor] : Sector: Company Name [optional] CTC [optional] How is it different from a job as just a graduate?
This would help aspirants decide upon the colleges looking at the profiles offered in them. Some fields are kept optional as many might not want to disclose company and CTC details coz of many said and unsaid reasons. NOTE: This thread is only for posting the profiles. Discussion on profiles and other things can be discussed here: (Discussion thread on job profiles after MBA)http://www.pagalguy.com/forum/alumni-discussions/32172-discussion-thread-job-profiles-after.html All other irrelevant posts on this thread shall be deleted.

[quote=Mahip;1137115] Profile Name: Client Relationship Management Profile Description: Day to day client interaction and looking for opportunities to increase the wallet share. General management. Not operational. There are days when there is nothing to do, excpet send a couple of mails. Involves frantic coordination, follow ups, presenations and "danda bajaoing" to get things done. B school Name: DMS, IIT Delhi Batch: 2006 Sector: IT & Telecom Company Name [optional] IBM India Pvt Ltd CTC [optional] Slightly less than the avg salaries the B-schools are quoting this year. How is it different from a job as just a graduate? Does not involve anything technical. No coding etc. Lots of MS Office use though. Never worked as a graduate so will not know much. But definitely more respect within the organization and exposure to whats happening at slightly higher level

Profile Name: Business Analyst Profile Description: Requirement gathering, making used cases, business analysis, SRS/SCOPE document and working on RFPs. B school Name: DoMS, IIT Madras Batch: 2008 Specialization [Major/Minor] : IT/fin Sector: IT Company Name [optional] WIPRO How is it different from a job as just a graduate? As a BE fresher, I was put into development and was restricted to a micro level in the project.
As a BA you look at the project from a MACRO level and is the interface between the PM/development team and client.
If you have prior work ex, then its an added advantage as you get to see and understand the business part as well as the technology part of the project.
