as per last yrz cut off..u'll get the call..check out the mandatory disclosure on XIMB site..they've mentioned last yrz cutoff there.

me too in a similar situation like you got 95+ in two section while just 78.73 in reasoning :banghead::banghead:
and a overall percentile of 97.93 (you have a better percentile than me....no worries for you

I have been following this thread & I'm aware that last year the cutoff was 96 percentile & evry year it rises........So going by this data...I shud not expect anyGDPI call from XIMB....but still I'd lyk to know is there any room for my profile to fit in for the GDPI shortlist for XIMB 2009 :confused:
Will my acads balance the overall score required for GDPI call........... ?????

Heylo! As far as we know, Acads or profile have zero or very less contribution for the shortlisting of the candidates for GD/PI. It's all dependent on percentile! So going by that way..dere is very less chance of you getting a call! But losing the hope hasn't helped any one, better stick to it! ATB

For the written test scores, I think the mandatory disclosure clearly says that the GD/PI and written test scores will be given equal (i.e.50-50) weightage. I don't personally think that any custom such as halving the XAT scores is followed, both exams have their own merit and students are judged on their performance in the respective exam that they have applied through. That is one of the reasons why there are different cut-offs in both these exams for the RM programme.
Most probably you'll be asked that question(of conflict of interest), just be true and justify yourself well. I am sure if you think about it a little, you can come up with a smart answer.

As far as our "predictions" are sought, let me tell you that it is clear from your choices (Indian Army/Rural Management) that you have a zeal to serve the nation, or at least it seems so. If that is the case then please don't worry about which option are you going to choose, rather, choose either and give your best shot - you will realize your goal. And since I am myself a student of Rural Management, I would give you a biased "prediction" of choosing Rural Management, if you get through.
